Can you do one with fancy tea leaves too?! Some of the flowering ones have some amazing colors in them! That was awesome! Great work!

@@BensWorx There's "chrysanthemum tea", which unfolds as it steeps from a little ball into a "flower". I don't know if that would work in resin. But I think that a resin mug made with chamomile flowers could be very pretty, depending on how the resin affects the colours of the flowers.
@MegaKellyschannel

The colours can have interesting reactions in different salinity too, could be interesting to see how they go in resin!
@jpolowin0
Жыл бұрын
@@MegaKellyschannel With floral colours, the effect is usually due to pH rather than salinity. Some of the pigments are pH indicators. For example, one can toggle forget-me-not flowers between pink and blue by dropping the flowers into vinegar or a solution of baking soda.

@@jpolowin0 lol, did I say salinity? Lol. That was a brain fart. I 100% meant pH!
Great work, Ben. I like the juxtaposition of drinking instant coffee from a mug made from 100% Arabica beans. Nice shooting style of this video but I have to say I missed your personality. It's why I watch your stuff. That and nicking ideas. 😉

Though I do like the video with just shop sounds, I think it is a bit more fun hearing your input on the project as it progresses, especially on long videos. Maybe throw up a community post so people can vote on it!
You should try making some eggs out of the shavings at 6:51 I think it will look cool.

The best part of wakin' up, is resin in your cuuuuppp.😂
I LOVED the quiet format, my wife and I could watch and not worry about my kids shouting over you
i would use this mug religiously. dishes made out of stuff suspended in clear material just tickle my brain in the most perfect of ways. i cannot stress enough how obsessed i would be if i owned this mug
loved this one. before polishing had a good look too. the shavings from the inside of the cup looked like a paper pattern

the project was interesting and the detail shown in filming was really cool. the new format still held my attention because the work itself was quality. I still like hearing your commentary and thoughts. that soothing positivity just makes these videos something else. by the way, that is the coolest literal coffee mug. I'd love to have one, if you start selling them

Wow! So many cool things in this video. The pattern of the shavings and how you showed us all of the processes to setting up the lathe and changing the tools are two highlights I remember now. The final project really looks fantastic! I love the contrast of the turned beans vs the whole beans in the resin at the bottom. So, so cool! ☕

Seeing a food safe resin item is different and that’s cool! Like the others I enjoy your voice and personality in videos. I bet this project left a wonderful smell in the workshop. As always thanks for sharing!
I think a mix of this style with what you normally do ads a nice variety!
The filming was definitely top notch and it made a nice change but I've got to say it's your personality that brought me to your channel. While videos like this definitely go down well I hope you won't stop voiceovers all together.
I loved the way you went with this video! I know a lot of people won’t like it, and I did miss your commentary and lovely voice. Maybe just a once in a while type of format. Thanks for another phenomenal video, Ben!
I wonder if you could make something flat like coasters, place mat, table top using coffee beans but with a really bright resin, eg yellow. Could be quite a contrast!
Ben's creativity just can't be beat. Excellent job!

Wow the patience needed!! Especially crafting the handle.
Makes me want some chocolate covered coffee beans. I think I'll pick some up tomorrow. Awesome looking cup.
The shot of the drill cutting the hole is my favourite, right after the complete coffee mug filled with coffee 😅
I like the editing. The quick cuts remind me of The Evil Dead movies when Ash is constructing something.
I really like the coffee bean☕ mug... I thought 💭🤔 that you couldn't consume food out of resin objects.

This is the first video of your's I have watched. I really like what you do but I like the skill and machining to do this. So watching you make this without any commentary is nice. It almost has an ASMR quality to it.
I hope you saved those crazy shavings to cast! This is such a good video, the editing and camera angles are 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Love this! I´m in Europe so I usuallly watch your videos on Saturday morning. I´m not a morning person so a video without too much blah blah suits me just fine. I also like the cup! Making this cup must´ve smelled really good :)

Cool project! If you haven't already discarded the shavings from hollowing out the cup, you should make a project with them. They looked pretty cool.
Very cool! I really liked the bottom where you could see whole coffee beans. Also, the bottom seen from the side takes on an almost gold tone from certain angles.
Looks awesome. Kinda like it better when you talk during your videos better. Video's like this make me just shut the volume off. Usually don't ever get to the end of them. Like the coffee cup though
