Turning An Old Cymbal Into a Basin Sink | Hammered Bronze Basin
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This project is all about recycling material and experimentation. I purchased a very affordable used Zildjian cymbal from Ebay, and using some simple metal smithing techniques, turned it into a basin style sink for my home. This was a concept I've had for a while, and I'm very happy with how it turned out. Thank you for watching. Now go forth and experiment!

It has such an earthy feel, and it's neat how quenching bronze doesn't harden it.

As always great vid. I've done a lot of small work with copper and brass but never had the chance with bronze. Working it looks like it might be an amalgamation of the two which would make a lot of sense. Not nearly as crumbly as brass, and not as squishy as copper. The sink is beautiful and it's a really great idea!
