Here at Skull and Spade, we're all about PPE and wearing the proper gear for all your adventures in Making. That's why I decided to gear up M.O.G. herself with the world's first Armored Chuck Taylors. Using a sacrificial pair of converse, I believe I may have created the best shoes ever made. Guaranteed to make you jump lower, kick harder, and defend your toes better than ever. All the while, maintaining a sense of style.

Is now the right time to point out that Sabaton and Sabotage are more closely linked than you might think? The term originates from the French practice of wrecking equipment with their wooden clogs, or Sabots.

Once upon a time I found out there were S3 rated Birkenstocks. This came as a shock to me since in my mind nothing could be further away from heavy duty safety shoes than Birkenstocks.... Yeah well... now there's armored chucks...
