Sue just makes me smile 😃....she reminds me of the energized bunny just press start and away she goes!! Lol...you two girls are so much fun together. Educational but fun. Thanks for sharing.
Sue😂😂 "just bang a nail on the wall and there you go". I just love her.

My mom could eyeball a wall, lick her finger, wet mark the paint, hammer and done, PERFECT. Dad would get level, measuring tape, etc, take 3 hours and nail would fall out as soon as he said done😅

But the bad thing about artwork is after you run out of walls, you start covering your doors and windows, like me. &)
Joc & Sue, most authentic Japanese sets come in sets of 5, 7, 9, etc.... They are usually odd number sets. I am half Japanese and when visiting my family in Japan that was one of the things I noticed in everyones kitchen. All the sets of dishes I purchased to take home to the US were in sets of 5.

My husband is 1/2 japanese and the #4 on Japanese culture is a very unlucky number. It actually can symbolize bad luck, death etc. TV at is way you won't see sets of 4.
There’s a lot more serendipity when things are arranged by color. Our local GW puts all like things together, so mugs with mugs, dishes with dishes, lamps with lamps, glassware with glassware, etc. More organized I guess but maybe less fun.
Sue, I lived in Japan in the 1950s. At that time many of their China tea are we're made new with only 5 small plates or saucers. I remember a group of my mother's friends complaining about it over coffee. Sometime later, probably after 1957' I recall my mother saying that she appreciated that the China made for western export were beginning to have six plates or saucers. It seemed to go along with the Japanese reverence for the numbers 3, 5, and 7 in flower arrangements and decor. Your small plates may or may have originally had 6 pieces of 5, If they are pre 1955, it's it is very likely that all the plates are there.

My family is Japanese and the #4 symbolizes death and bad luck. It is a very old belief. My daughters teacher called her 44th birthday her double death year. I felt so bad she believed in it. Than she had multiple strokes that year. At was sad. But the belief in the # 4 being unlucky goes very far back in Japanese culture.
Love it when you both watch each others back.. and you'll say, "I found this for you."
You are the most fun & interesting utube vintage shopper! I love the way you make each video interesting by talking through all that you see & buy. Great the way you describe why you buy or don’t! 💕
Whew!!!! So glad Sue kept the 1940s lamp. I was thinking... That would make a good project lamp for your videos...and yay you heard me ❤💚💜💙💛
I think it’s so adorable and sweet that Sue is always finding things for your kids. My sister and I were known as the Yaya sisters by the family. She passed away last year and I really miss our Yaya night out once a week. We would always go to the antique malls together on the week ends.
Oooo! I'm going to bid on the copperwork book. I love that old paper, I want to make it an art journal. :) Fun trip to the Goodwill, ladies!
I'll die laughing when you find that Geico gecko painting at the Goodwill bins in a couple of weeks.
I absolutely love Sue’s green, project lamp. It is so pretty! I’m looking forward to seeing that video.
Can’t wait to see Sue’s lamp project in the future.
That "Duckbank" is actually Silver. My daughter got one of those when she got here name at 3mnd.old🙂 They was very common here in Norway at that time (the -80's),they had pink ones for Girls and light blue ones for Boys, but yours miss it' s woolen cap☺
I love to watch the two of you thrift together!! What better way to spend time with your bff?
The Otagiri mugs look like the floral field daisy pattern. You got me hooked on coffee mugs and now I am a hoarder 😂🤣
The lamp Sue found, I have one like it that my parents got as a wedding present in 1953. Same shape, same picture, same gold trim, but mine is burgundy rather than green.
Oh Sue!!! I love the green "lamp"

Loved the copper scrapbook! And I am so glad Sue picked that '40's lamp base back up! It totally rocks. I love stuff from the 1940's! Can't wait to see the lamp project video!
Sure glad she went back and grabbed that 1940's lamp....I was yelling at my phone 😳 lol
Amber glass is great for fall decorating. Someone will want it!!
Love the little "dogwood " tray. I have a dogwood dishtowel and hot pad.
It's not the "how to commit arson channel", lol. You guys are too funny!
Omg! I love how she puts the lamp back in her cart 🤗
The saucer may be with plates , I have found them there .
NOW my week is complete - shopping with Sue & Jos! I was holding my breath hoping to see a certain candlestick and bowl. Oh well, hope whoever bought it enjoys it as much as we have!
So glad Sue took the project lamp! Can't wait to see that video.
I love those frames on the 3 piece artwork
Anybody else notice they missed a piece to the nesting Santa.

So glad Sue kept that lamp. I LOVED it.
You two are so funny! Love watching. Sue, the hat looked cute on you! Lips are sealed on the pink scarf. 🤐 you always find such great stuff.
Yup ... gone. Now you can stick the candlestick back in the bowl .. at the BINS! LOL
My husband's grandma has a stacking doll and everyone, all generations LOVE playing with that doll!
Tell Sue, she can turn the pretty tea cup into a pin cushion.
I just love Sue! best smile!
As always, a great video. You two together, so much fun. 😉 Ik loved the 3 art pieces very much and the copper artwork on the book, so beautifull. 👍🏻
Hi ladies, I just love watching you on your thrifty adventures. Best friends, coffee, thrift shops, and great deals to be had, my kinda fun. Glad you got the lamp Sue, it looks like a Capadimonte....maybe not with it having a cord hole...usually that brand has a brass base the cord goes thru.. Idk a lot about them....my friend has a great love for them. You girls are so much fun. Will definitely check out Sue's channel. Happy thrifting and fall🍁🍁
I love those auto chrome (sp?) pictures. I'd keep those. Also, that little black tray with flowers. Love it! I love your videos. You and Sue are great!
Sue oh Sue you had me hee hawing 🤣🤣🤣 you are such a hoot!! Good time ladies 👏
I absolutely LOVE your glasses!!! They look fantastic on you!! ❤️
So much fun with you two!
I just watched an "answer questions " video . I am guilty of sending you a couple of things in fb messenger, asking for your help. Bless you, I am sorry and I won't ask anything of you again . I enjoy your video's and have learned so much . I appreciate you ,Ms. Sue ,and your boyfriend for all the info y'all do give . Y'all are awesome.
Great finds ladies I enjoyed seeing y'all shopping thanks for sharing 💕 love your glasses too 🥰
oh I love the wee violet plate, almost as much as I love FAIRY LAMPS!
The BFFs had a very interesting trip to the GW today 😂. Sue I’m glad you didn’t get the Ya-Ya hat because it was so fabulous I’m afraid cars would not be able to stay on the road 🚗🚗🚗
Thank You for rescuing lamp after all! I love the 40s. And sadly yes. Doesn't sell well. :-( omg. The dogwood plate! Dogwood flowers and hound dogs! I'm in love!
That copper album is interesting. Hope it comes up special.

I have a very similar nesting doll set which my dad picked up from a thrift store years ago. Every kid we had visit would end up entertaining themselves with it. Taking it apart and back together agsin like building blocks.
I have that amber snifter. Amber glass glows amazingly when lit from the back.
Sue can you turn the cup into a cup chandelier... I made one like it for my mom and dad they loved it...oceans of creativity from Florida, Jannie
I have four of those lovely blue and white coffee mugs. They were given to me by my momma and sister. They brought them to me in Louisiana in about 2000. They bought them at the “Cracker Barrel” on their way to visit us. They also gave me the matching teapot. I love them. Thought you like the info on the mug. Love y’all!
The bull reminds me of one's you would see in the windows or behind the counter of a traditional Butcher's shop in the U.K 20 or 30 years ago.
You got me laughing before I finished my first cup of coffee!
I had a whole set of the wild flower mugs in the early 70s
I love the soup or bullion cups. So pretty.
Sue shows her friend a 40s lamp she was thinking about buying. Friend says, Nah... Sue puts lamp back on shelf. Friend says, But it could be a good project piece. Never missing a beat, Sue puts said lamp back in her cart. The two of you are funny together. I had to go back and watch that 3 times, lol.☺
Hello from Australia 🇦🇺 it is almost midnight and my kitten has woken me up so I will happily watch you now.
Dude the Geiko gecko!!! Lol that's too cute 🙂
100K on the horizon! Great job, Jocelyn! (:
Thanks for sharing your time with me. Hello Miss Sue
The YaYa Sisters hat is based on a very good movie by the same name. If you ever come across the movie I suggest watching it. A favorite of mine personally.
I've been buying plates to make tidbit trays then get home and can't stand to drill them lol

Weird analogy, but it's kind of like the clearance $1.35 tees I get my 2 yr old daughter from Cat & Jack to wear for her spaghetti/anything that stains aka "Saucy" shirts and then can't bear to let her wear them for that because they're so darn cute!!! 😬🤷🏻♀️
I think the speckled flower mugs are Takahashi. That little blue hound dog tray is adorable!
So glad you took that beautiful vase? back off the shelf and put it in your cart Sue. That would make a beautiful lamp; please make a video showing turning it into a lamp.
Really liked the bull ceramic 👍 Enjoyed the video.
Nice video again. I have bought and sold that metal duck bank several times. The scarves always make it yucky so I get rid of them. Oooh love that little metal tray. I have several. Y’all are just a hoot. Oh, hoot owl. Haha.
I hate when your videos end! Love them!
so happy you bought the amber glass most of the time you pass it up
You two are the best. Love watching.
The 1940s vase was so cool!!

I love that little black tray.
Sue love the $2. Candy dish, nice lamp piece Sue, nice blue cup
That Pony is awesome!!!❤️
Love the green lamp body!!!
Sue spoils your kids and Andrew, it’s so cute! I love it! I want Sue to adopt me, LOL!
Gurl... my goodwill has dollar tree donations & that’s IT! 🤣🤣🤣 I would have snapped up ALL those milk glass vases put them on my dining room table with some black & blood red fake flowers, a black table cloth, some fake spider webs & call it Halloween 🎃 👻

The shell reminded me of Paua shell I saw in New Zealand but Google tells me that's the Maori name to three species of large edible sea snails known as abalone in the USA and Australia. Fab piece 💗
I totally love the lamp
Fun to watch you two together. Definitely a symbiotic relationship. 😊🎃😊
I am learning so much from watching your channel! You said “Otagiri” and I recognized it from the brand name etched into a little ceramic duck that I found at the Sal recently.
My Mom use to make burlap purses, brought a few memories and tears
I have that goebel bird. The lusterware is modern, 1990's
I love that 1940's lamp. We mix all styles since we live in a house that is over a 100 years old - we have modern mixed with antique and everything inbetween. But it would probably be a hard sale on eBay.
That's the Groovy Girls Calypso Callie horse from 2001, I had one in elementary school - they were all the rage.
Put the glued bluebird on your kitchen windowsill and he'll bring happiness. Don't worry about his crack, and just surround him with things you love. :-) lol
So much nice stuff!
cool stuff, Ladies ! Thanks for sharing
You guys are so beautiful, wished i had a friend to go thrifting with. Love your your channel ♡
Yes to the old book glad you got it . Love you sue at the end of the day . Also when you do the haul that you and sue do can you do the haul with her
I have two of the wall pockets love them
😂😂😂 Sue says "it's got cooties". OMG I couldn't stop laughing, she's quite the character. I really like her and I love the interactions between you. Makes for some very interesting videos. It makes me almost want to go to a second hand store but I am so scared of "cooties". When I buy used books I put them in the freezer for at least 3 days... just in case 😂😂😂😂
The silver duck with the pink scarf & hat... someone gave my daughter one with her name engraved on it when she was born... 1976!
I love Sue me I’ve learned so much thank you both.
Cool video. Lots of fun moments. Thank you for sharing. Watching from England 🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🍂🍁✨🍹
