    I never got a date put on me when I was born... That being said, I was born in 83, so it was probably a sticker, stop it probably fell of. I was born with Arthritis, so perhaps the sticker fell off when I got my first upgrade (hip replacement) when I was 19. 🤷

    Opening up a can of worms here, but after reading comments I can’t believe you have been told - don’t bring your kids, they touch too many things, get a new haircut, do what you’re supposed to do, just film and not interact with your kids, etc. What the heck is with these people. You are a full time KZreadr who puts out a DAILY video. That in itself is amazing. Put your coffee down folks and go outside and enjoy the day.

    I keep four or five flattened insulated shopping bags (mine are cheapies from Trader Joe's) in the back seat or the trunk of my car - they were just for keeping cold food cold in summer, but a few weeks ago when I also shopped in a thrift which wouldn't wrap my items (although they were a lot nicer to me than that lady in the NJ Goodwill; they just ran out of paper), I just stuck them in the insulated bags and everything made it home without damage. Since they're flattened they don't take up much room in the car.

    Love that you are teaching them not only how to shop and look for items of value but also that you let them practice on the camera angles and shots with you tube being such a great tool to use these days I think it is GREAT for children to learn at a young age how to use the camera ect. (I grew up old order amish and I left the amish at 18 years old and I also am trying to learn all this teck stuff...lol lol NOT my first gifting that is for sure I do plan on learning how to do a channel on you tube as I also am starting my reselling journey,I had been doing it for years via yardsales and flipping through them and locally however everyone told me I should do the Ebay thing & that has been a fun learning curve also,still learning and always will be, I do want to learn you tube and my goal is to launch my channel before year end so LOVE watching you guys each and every one of you ROCK & I love your items you find,thanks for all the HARD work you guys do running this channel i know it takes a ton of work that much I can tell already.)Sending out a big Hi from Ontario,Canada hope you guys have a great rest of the vacation.ENJOY..

    The worse the employee is treated by management and/or co-workers, the crankier they're going to be. These people are unhappy in their jobs because these jobs and management usually SUCK. On top of that, this is probably their only option of employment. Not excusing the way this person behaved, but speaking from experience, she was more than likely just having a bad day. Nobody's perfect.

    Because it takes a while to wrap things/ring things up, a line builds up, people become impatient and can be jerks. Speaking from experience. As someone with anxiety, it can be incredibly overwhelming. Yes, paid by the hour, but paid barely anything. I never got mad at anyone, but I did get stressed out. Never ever took it out on the customer, though.

  • @kathihilton4064

    @kathihilton4064

    When I did cashing each person got their time and the attention needed , if that meant wrapping every piece then so be it as they waited for their turn in line. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect of course unless they were a major jerk from the start and to other customers then, I would make some mess up with cashering so it took them longer to leave, just to be a ass back lol. Maybe you want to carry some papers just incase, but myself I would of took it back in and complained until it got wrapped as you paid for each item not to have it break on the way home and that helps pay for them to have a job there

    You are so good w/ your kids! I travel with a cheapo roll of wrapping paper in my car so that I can wrap my glass items in case they don't....wherever I shop. :)

    I love you, your videos and your family. I live in Elmira, NY, close to the border of PA. My sister lives in West Grove, PA, not too far from some of your videos. I am so hooked on thrift stores, etc. and cannot wait for this pandemic to end. I'm feening. I need to get out! lol. I had a couple glasses of wine and watched this video among a lot of your others. You have inspired me. I have a small shop where I finish furniture and upcycle items. Haven't been able to open this year and last year my mom was sick and passed away. Watching your videos keeps me motivated. Your kids are so cute and you have so much patience!!! Hope to meet you one day.

    What my husband and I always do we bring our own boxes and paper and bubble wrap. And keep it in our trunk. Especially when Goodwill is having 50% off day they always run out of paper to wrap the breakables.

    In most thrift stores in the Netherlands you have to wrap your own breakables. Some stores do it for you but they never do it right or use enough paper, so I actually prefer to do it myself.

    Jocelyn, the stores here barely wrap any paper around the breakables so I keep a box with old towels, washcloths and shredded towel or material for that very reason

    That custard vase was fantastic. I think made by McKee. I have the larger one in jadeite.

    You should’ve also stopped at the Wheaton arts and cultural center in Millville for some art glass history. Maybe next time! You had your hands full that day. LOL

    Mommy, mommy, mom, lookit mom, mommy, Joce, mommy, mom, mommy see what I found, mommy, mom. Your patience is astounding! Being pulled so many directions at once while you are trying to film makes it almost impossible to spend any of your attention to what's on the shelf. You, madam, are incredible...or crazy...or both.

    They also employ disabled, challenged persons but courtesy is part of dealing with the public, so if for whatever reason, they can't muster politeness and customer service, they need to go. Imo, for what it's worth. Lol.

    Long ago, that Salvation Army store was a roller skating rink. That’s why it has that really cool hardwood floor.
