Another great video... lots of treasures here. I spied a large set of my Zwiesel "Almeria" crystal glasses, that I was hoping you would pick up, the price would has been interesting, I've had mine since the 80's. Plus there was a small size, like a mini champagne coupe that I've never seen before... but no Scotch glasses... I was lucky to find mine at a good price even back then, the store closing to make way for a huge extension to the shopping mall. Zwiesel crystal is fabulous quality, equal to my other glasses, Stuart "Ariel" Air Twist - don't need another glass, but it's so hard when you love beautiful things! ❤🦘

Love me some Hutchenreuther and Kaiser Sax.

That religious statue behind you is amazing.

Top stores in the high streets of Hamburg, Munich and perhaps Dusseldorf were filled with these wonderful things in the 1980s, when W. Germany reached the peak of economic prosperity. Sad to see that these beautiful things have lost so much value since then.

My grandparents were German..both sides..but only spoke it when they didn't want anyone to know what they were saying. What a shame they didn't teach it to us. 👍💕

Thank you! I learned Spanish in school, though I am more fluent in German. I first visited Germany at age 14. Spent vacations there and then attended university in Heidelberg. Immersion is the best way to learn.

Bei Vasen werde ich auch immer wieder mal schwach.

Probably the war had a lot to do with that and they wanted to assimilate. But i still wish i had learned German.
