Turn Scrap COPPER Pipes Into Custom Golden Coins At Home - Custom Coins Made Easy

Ойын-сауық

In this video I'll be making my own custom copper coins from scrap copper pipes. The coins were cast in graphite molds that I made. The copper pipes were melted down in my furnace until they were liquid metal and simply poured into the open molds. I used a wire brush to clean up some of them and a tumbler to clean the rest. Which version do you like better? If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up and hit that Subscribe button for more.

I was just about to suggest using a tumbler when you brought one out. The coins definitely look better from the tumbler and they would look even better if you used a smaller medium and left the coins in longer. But you wouldn’t want to leave them in too long as the medium could polish away all the fine details, it’s something you might have to experiment with but nice job anyway 👍

not to sure which method of cleaning was better as I like the both methods the tumbled ones came out with a tarnish on them (gives them age) and the ones that were wired brushed looked new. Great video there Adrock Keep up the good work and see you next week mate another great episode of ArtByAdrock. 😁👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😎

You can make things easier and reduce losses to oxidation by melting long, uncut, pieces of copper and feeding them into the puddle. Yeah, its blinding but it also gives you the chance to stir the puddle while you're filling the crucible.
