Slag consists of aluminium oxide. You'd limit it by putting cans through small opening in the top of your owen. Also higher temperature speed up this oxidation reaction.
in answer to: who here knows what this is? that is SACK BOY!
Absolutely awsome, thanks for all the knowledge
But with the proper lens you can do this at least 4 times faster! With more detail at the same time! Man, you have a super powerful laser with these 60 W, but deep engraving a small coin with a lens having a huge working area of 200 x 200 mm is just a massive waste of time. Also a massive waste of the resource of the laser source, which resource is not infinite. And a 60 W laser source is not at all cheap. You need a lens with as small as possible working area. The smaller the working area of the lens, the faster it will work. And also, the smaller the working area of the lens, the finer spot it produces, hence more details you get. Lens with a 35 x 35 mm working area may not be enough for this large coin. But a lens with a working area of 50 x 50 mm will do for sure. It will do the same coin around 4 times faster and you will get at least 2 times more detail!
Well done, congratulations, how long do you cook the plaster molds to melt the wax?
Im getting no picture in the preview, its just black, am I missing a driver or something? It detected the moose 3d scanner.
I've melted aluminum and brass before, and after this video i'll be trying to do copper. Also, if you want to get rid of your spider problem, there is an insecticide called Talstar that you can probably buy online (it is legal in Australia) that will get rid of them almost instantly. Just put a couple ounces in a 2 gallon garden sprayer and goodbye spiders. Great for fire ants too. Make sure to wear gloves and don't get it on you.
Ok that scared the bejesus out of me
So you can't just extract the ZBuffer from the GPU, like in Rhino? It takes a second.
How do you adjust the picture on the surface?
Nice. Cool.
Who copied Who?
I heard IOS and Android support is on its way for this scanner. With an add-on to allow for wireless scanning. Something I am very much looking forward to. Hope it will come out soon!
Whats the diameter & depth of the 3k crucible? Wondering if i could fit 5" ingots into it for coin pouring
Can this make the dragons that move?
Always quench your metal after you pour it. The natural color will come out. Otherwise it will stay black like yours did. Neat little machine for gold silver or platinum. Cant think of any small micro projects for aluminum or copper
It is just an oxide sometimes called fire scale by newbies. Put it in a pickle or dilute sulfuric acid after it has cooled.
Is it possible to make a height map from a 3D image? From an AI 3D image using this method This was a great tutorial!! I made my 1st height map today using blender for the 1st time. Thank you! ?
You would need to convert the AI image to STL format. You need the 3D model first. There are ways to do it but it can be time consuming.
Сколько у тебя🙏💕🙏💕 их находится лайк🙏💕🙏💕🙏💕 👌👌👌🆗🆗🆗👍👍👍
That reference is very handy. Small but efficient.
I saw upgraded furnace in my notifications and thought you were changing it up with a new propane unit! 😅. These electric furnaces look like they’re great for smaller projects
Ooooh! I have the rectangular one on the left, and I really like it. Maybe I need this newer one, too!
It definitely heats up much faster 👍🏻
@ArtByAdrock I agree with you about the handles. I can move my furnace after unplugging while it is still hot, probably not with this one. I wonder if Toauto made the resistance wire more durable or thicker to help with the faster heating? I've heard that the one I have is prone to wire failure after a while, but mine has been good for nearly three years so far. Shrug
If you’re interested in an electric melting furnace, this upgraded model melts copper quicker than the previous model although mine is still working fine after 3 years of use. It’s not yet available to order but will be soon and I’ll provide the link once it’s ready. Enjoy and I’ll see you all in the next one. 👍🏻
when you get the link, please send it to me 👍
Wait, what was the box doing then? You closed the circuit with that loop thingy and audio works?
How do you clean the crucible ?
Are these able to print helmets?
Yes but if your printing helmets you might want to go with the plus or max as they have a much larger built plate
Would you know the setup for a 175mm lens ?
So what is the name of the part ??
Name of part ????????
Is the dye straight or mix with water cheers Graham
Thanks man, that was very helpful.
And after Bidenomics, this is no longer affordable to do.
Where do you get your molds for the coins?
great video! straight to the point , nice and clean ! thanks so much ! very informative .Ibelieve is one of the best vids out there on this subject! (forgive my english...)
I love this video! If you're considering a laser investment, look no further than Monport laser for quality and performance.
It’s like 200 dollars in copper his whole collection lol
Hello, I have been trying to get the dark engraving like yours but I can’t seem to get the same results. Can you please help me if you have the time.
What do you need to do to scan the bottom? You put it on that axis and then align it later in your software ?
What size furnace would you recommend for a #8 crucible. Thank you & keep coming up with your awesome vids.
I always recommend the 10kg devil-forge as they are amazing and haven’t had any issues ever.
I am very interested in melting down aluminum cans into metal sheets to then water jet. How would I be able to do that?
You drink a lot of tranny fluid
What is the size of sword
Can’t tell if his hobby is melting cans, or drinking beer😂
You could mention. What is support like‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ that is important to me.
This is great, do you have a .blend available with your compositor set up?
nevermind I thought it was more complicated than it is
