That raid when you were getting base pushed saved the game. That stutter in forces coming in let you stabilize. Really good show in how counter raiding is so important while in a defensive posture good show

Personally I think that, the reason Byzantine CIV is so hard to master is about the way that game-designer team wants it must trully reach to level of "Empire", it means Gamers must always expand and conquer, by exploiting the resources and attacking other CIV to gain superpower. I notice that Byzantine always the winner if they are played as the way you played. Late-game! 🎉

If your into team games just be prepared for about half of them not to even be playable. Only thing you can count on is that somebody will leave and the game will then be over.

Yes. More sweaty, ranked 1v1 please. AoE4 FFAs have become very formulaic. I much prefer Dune's FFAs. More dynamism and unpredictability. OTOH AoE4 1v1 is amazing. It's almost right up there with Brood War.

Any chance you do something funny like a no unit caps rng tourney or trials of tzeentch random builds etc? Haven’t seen anything that silly in a long time. I and others would love to see the stupid campaign units in a dom battle or something.
