Have you had the opportunity to use it in a driving rain? If so any water intrusion anywhere? I’m seriously looking at the tune and the project M. My concern with the tune are the plastic corner pieces,not that they will break but the expansion and contraction rate between the plastic and the aluminum. I’m afraid the aluminum will contract and expand a lot more than the plastic and cause the bonding to pull free and cause leaks. There has been some talk of leak problems. I absolutely love the look of the tune!

Thanks for watching! I had read about some leaking issues that they were having when we picked ours up. They have since taken some additional steps to prevent water intrusion. Our was leaking but we just brought it in for them to fix it under warranty. We did get a light rain without any issue but haven't had the joy of a downpour again yet. We're hoping that it's ready for it now.

I have an Alucab canopy camper that does awesome in the wind given it's a wedge and I can point it into the wind, but damn that bed looks huge comparatively!

Get an anemometer if you’re going to report on wind speed. This was not very informative.

We have been able to keep all our stuff up there when we close it. We have 4 pillows that we spread around and it closes without any problems. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! It was really windy so I thought I'd share how it was doing. It was definitely last minute nonsense that I put together on this one. The Tune did great though.

Regarding the tent material. Four Wheel Campers offer the extra insulation package which adds that additional layer. Does Tune offer the same? Is it needed? How's condensation?

Thanks for watching! Tune has released an insulation package and also a heater option since we picked ours up. It would be nice to have but isn't a deal breaker if you have winter camp gear. Condensation will definitely occur in cold without it.

What made you buy the M1 over a Project M? Thanks for making the video!

Thanks for watching. There were a few reasons. I liked that they are a smaller local company. The big bed option really did it for us because I'm tall and we have a big dog with us. Basically the extra space at a comparable price from a local(ish) company is what led us in this direction. I haven't really messed with a Project M in person but I also read some reviews about them just slapping them together. That was a turn off for us but I still haven't seen one personally to say. Let us know if you have any other questions and let Tune know we helped out if you do choose them.

Do you have the vinyl inserts in all your windows?

Thanks for watching! We only bought 4 but always have them under the bed unless it's raining. I guess we could have tried them with the wind but closed everything up during the night.

Is the roof three separate pieces or is it one continuous piece?
