Thanks for watching! That sounds like a nice trip you have planned. Are you planning an interior buildout or leaving it easily emptied? The reason I ask is because I'm sure the playa dust will find its way in.

Coyote y Burro are incredible places, I found them about 23 years ago on a Harley ride from SD to CSL.

Thanks for watching! Burro has a bar on it now. Coyote is probably still our favorite but the entire bay is amazing.

That was a very long drive day! When I do that drive I break it up in to 3 days, mostly because I don't want to push that hard and winter shorter days. Day 1 San Feliepe, day 2 San Ignacio, day 3 Mulege. Love Coyote Cove! Not a bad beach along Bahia de Concepcion! Love catching Trigger fish for ceviche! Have a wonderful trip!

Thanks for watching! We normally do La Poma, San Ignacio, and then Mulege but we didn't have a lot of time this trip. We opted to go fast down and a little slower on our way back up. Trigger ceviche is our favorite. Stay tuned to upcoming episodes because found them!

I enjoyed that one a lot. Your videos are making me feel a lot more confident about trying Baja. Used to cross border a lot in TX and AZ, but haven't for 20 yrs now. All the cartel and crime issues have me worried. Nice to see how easy it seems for you! I like your "pile it in Tune and figure it out" style, I'm still using boxes too so I can use truckbed. Keep ip the good content, thx!

Thanks for watching! We were a little nervous our first time going down because of all the "stories" we've heard. Each year we've been back gets easier and easier to not worry. We just follow basic travel safety stuff and know that things can happen anywhere. We actually feel much safer down there than we do in a lot of U.S. cities. We're going to continue the pile in in method for a while because money is tight for a bit. We will always want the truck bed usable so we'll probably do something basic and easily removable when we start the build.

Next time use the atm in Mexico, that’s what I do every time

We have mixed feelings about using the ATMs. They always seem to try and give you a horrible exchange rate. I've heard to always decline it on that screen and then it should go off the bank exchange the day.....could be risky though. They also have pretty high fees. Our Charles Schwab debit card refunds ATM fees but I think the banks sneak one in that isn't considered a fee. Overall, we use them to re-supply cash because we'd rather that than carry a lot with us.

Thanks for watching! I think there will be some more fishing in an upcoming video. I think I blew it on the good day though. We drove out to California for the TinyFest event and figured we should go to Baja since we were so close. We went down for about 3 weeks this time.

@@pqtpat7734you should go! Most camps in the bay charge. They are around $10-15 dollars a night currently and usually have some amenities (pit toilets and trash pickup). Some have bars, coffee shops, restaurants at them or nearby. Folks come by all the time with good stuff like tamales, water, ice, cookies, and sometimes pizza. It's nice!
