Agreed. I think the current social climate is making people extremely eager to be politically involved - the problem is that many of these people are misinformed and/or they tend to overanalyze things until they no longer make sense. It does hurt actual causes with actual good goals. The "feminists" on Tumblr are the examples that anti-feminists use to make it seem as though feminism as a whole is a batshit crazy movement with batshit crazy people in it. Choose your goddamned battles. I swear, it's like these people are just trying to collect PC gold star points on Tumblr, like it's today's "street cred" or something. They don't actually care about these causes - nor do they acknowledge the fact that they're doing more harm than good. Stubborn, ignorant little shit heads.

2:45 really gets me because, as a linguist myself, having someone correct me on my mistakes when I'm speaking another language is one of the BEST things a native speaker can do for you. 99% of the time when you get corrected when learning a language, it's because the native understands that you're learning and trying to get better, so they're trying to help you. problem is white europeans from spain are spanish. but the half indians half white europeans from latin america (latinos) often refer to themselves as spanish. they do however speak spanish but they ARE NOT spanish. they are Latino. latino ppl or hispanic are ppl who are mixed with both amerindian and white spanish european . spanish are white europeans. latino are indians and spanish mixed.

Some of them are actually trolls and not people with that actual mindset. Unfortunately some of them aren't and are serious. Also here's a thing you non-tumblr users. The dragon blogs are 100% jokes. A lot of people like to say they're goblins,dragons, fish etc on tumblr as jokes or comedy. Mainly harmless role play or cosplay. They're normal people who want to have fun. So as weird as it might seem they're actually very friendly and nice.

My favorite things on tumblr are when someone with an actual brain encounters one of these wackos and either disproves them or makes a joke about it that reveals how insane it really is.

As someone who’s been using the hellsite for 2 years now I’ve seen it all from SJW cringe to chubby furry fanart porn and it is so god awful I’d say only 5% - 10% of Tumblr isn’t terrible

I’m an open minded person, but things are getting out of hand if people sincerely believe they have astral wings. And also with the gender issues, it strikes me as odd that growing up in the 80s in a very accepting society, nobody questioned their gender. I’m sure there were a few kids that were confused and it’s great that they’re now able to show their true colors. But this is just going too far. Also, purely statistically speaking, it is a hell of a lot more likely that the person you’re talking to (or about) feels the gender they were born with. So it’s safe to "assume ones gender" in most every day settings. These tumblr (and other places) warriors are causing more problems than they solve. Alienating potential allies is never a smart thing to do. And ffs, feminism is for equal rights under equal circumstances, not a vehicle to bash males. (Excuse me, cis gendered whatsamacallits).

Otaku Obsession Honestly, the only reason why anyone should think that anyone has wings is in a way to try and analyze someone. I personally attach wings to people at times and will adjust them to how the person is feeling at the time and how there personality seems to be. I have ,kind of, in depth knowledge of how wings work and if they’re in a certain state what it means for the health and mentality of the animal it’s attached to. It’s like a mental check mark system that I keep to make sure the people around me are happy and healthy. Also I do this just because of my own fascination with flying as a child. I started that system when I was 5 or so and it’s stuck ever sense. Sorry if that sounds weird. But that’s my own system of checking up on people, it’s kind of like the spoon thing I guess. Idk. Also I’m not hallucinating the wings. I just imagine as if they are there and how they would look and act.

When my grandma divorced my grandpa she dropped the polish last name and her German maiden name and chose the last name Summers......people still have issues with it....probably because my first name is Jada and I’m a white girl.
