Or "can i actually trust you?". And then they have the gall to call conservatives "sheople". In my faith, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" they encourage us to read the doctrine ourselves, and get our own testimony of the truth. They're very clear about what is the truth and what isn't, but they want us to ask questions so we can get answers. They even put up essays online about some of the ugly truths of the early church. Granted those essays aren't nearly as damning as all the accusations surrounding those accounts, but the Church cites all of their sources (in all of their writing) so people can actually fact check it.

It's not that crazy. I was pretty hard left leaning during the Bush administration. What drove me away was the amount of veiled antisemitism. They just used different terminology that still carries over to today. Example is around 2007, the talking points became about billionaires and CEO's. The people who were radicalized by far left ideologies were fed nearly every line of antisemitism that my grandparents faced, but with a new coat of paint. After the attack last year, the people who were fed these ideas simply connected the dots themselves, and embraced their ideological roots. This isn't to day that leftist ideologies are fundamentally flawed, or rotten to the core. This is the result of political tribalism, and both sides are susceptible to it. People so addicted to their own politics that they turn into political contrarianists if the other side does something they agree with.

I've rewatched this video so many times and each time that part plays, every time without fail I have to either skip it from the cringe, or stop playing it for a bit so I can breathe heavily due to the second hand embarrassment it causes me.

Thankfully it was a rumor, it originated as a joke between three users and other users who saw it thought it was serious. Also nobody actually peed in the ball pit

@@gryficowaSlight agree. It was not boycotted to the extent it is in current day. And anyone who spoke rhetoric that was aexplicitly pro-palestine and anti-israel was labeled anti semitic on tumblr between 2013-2018.
