What a great video. All that's missing is a hunt and you'd have captured just about all aspects of pride life in a single 8 minute video. The leopard footage is bonus stuff. Thanks so much for the lovely virtual experience. 😊 ❤ 🦁
I love all the little nuances in behavior. At 3:45, the male gets up and runs away from the ele. He steered himself towards the pride at first but after what appears to be a really quick thought, and instead of taking the easy route across the beach, he steers back into the trees. And in doing so, steers the ele (danger) away from the pride family. Anybody who says lions or animals in general aren’t emotional or extremely intelligent, all you have to do is watch, and learn.
