    I'm just going to assume this tourist had absolutely no one to leave the baby with for this outing. Cause who would possibly want to be bothered with a baby while visiting the African Bush and seeing wildlife.🤷🏾‍♀️😩 I definitely woulda left the kid behind so I could enjoy seeing nature in its rawest form. Anyway, super cute lion cubbies! I wish I could just pick one up and kiss its forehead! ❤️

    Everything natural, in nature, with mom and young kids together.... that's how things should be. That Leopard kid... his mom's gonna be so pissed, when she returned and he's gone from that ultra high, ultra safe tree shelter. I mean, seriously, on the ground, that cub could easily be killed by antelope mothers trying to protect her kids, to hyenas, to buffalo, to lions and cheetahs, to honey badgers, to any number of things. There's nothing that young leopard could do about it, since he's not going to be about to out run any other adults.

    If you can afford an African Safari, you can damn sure afford a sitter. I wouldn’t bring a baby to the African bush for a myriad of reasons. #1- Being my own enjoyment and not changing diapers on an expensive once in a lifetime trip a baby wouldn’t even remember.

    Main reason I shouldn't take a baby ,not to disturb my fellow travellers . One doesn't fly half the world over to have your safari brightened up by a nagging baby. We heard it just a few seconds....wonder how the actual situation was. This should be taken care of by the organiser. Nothing against babies mind ; there's a time and a place for everything .

    Hearing a small child makes me want to ask a question. Do the lions notice a baby or toddler in the vehicles? They don't usually pay much attention to people on a vehicle safari, but is it different with a small child crying? It seems like that would be similar to a wounded animal call - signaling vulnerability to a predator.

  • @LotsofLisa

    @LotsofLisa

    3 жыл бұрын

    IMHO There are some trips I wonder why people bring such small kids to, safaris is one of them. Like Disney and some boutique cruises, they’re so expensive and the kid won’t even remember it. Not to mention it’s not any fun for you, the parent, who has to go through the same crying, diaper changing fiasco you do at home. That’s not fun for me. A safari would be a trip for me and my older kids or group of adult friends.

  • @JD-ku6vd

    @JD-ku6vd

    Why do safari companies not have an age limit? Sitting in an open air vehicle watching a lioness with 5 little cubs is not infant/toddler entertainment. I would think a sudden temper tantrum would not only ruin the trip for everyone else, but endanger all. It’s not as if a toddler meltdown is predictable.

  • @LotsofLisa

    @LotsofLisa

    @@JD-ku6vd You are so right. I would be absolutely furious having paid a ton of money for a once in a lifetime safari and some crying baby ruined a drive. I’m a parent and I hate to be like that, but there’s some places small kids just shouldn’t be. Even common places like hair and nail salons. Can you imagine if a toddler wandered off?! OMG!!!

    @@LotsofLisa In 2015 an American woman was mauled to death through an open window of a safari vehicle by a lioness. The guide tried to fight the lioness off but instinctively the animal had gone for her throat. No matter how conditioned the animals are to touring buses & Land Rovers, they’re still wild.

    Why would you bring your crying infant baby on a safari where you’re specifically looking to find and get close to extremely large, fast, and efficient predators. Seems really irresponsible as a parent first of all, and really inconsiderate to others on that safari if you ask me. Imagine traveling across the globe on your once in a lifetime bucket list trip you’ve been saving for and planning for months or years and you get all the way there and find out the Jeep seat you’ve been dreaming of is next to a crying infant baby. Some people I swear.
