You sure this is Monwana who is the son of the LATE Blackdam male? He had a brother, who was dead within weeks or so after his father. They were 4-5 years old a least at the time, end of 2020. The Blackdam here is called "Guernsey" early in the video.

My Goodness, What A Twist! What Did Christof Just Wake Up To? These nomads are impressive looking and most definitely in the wrong territory to be messing around with the Skorro Males Pride. Watching the cubs honing in on life skills needed in order to survive while danger lurks in the mist was an enjoyable moment as well as made the threat situation more surreal. The cubs can climb a tree if the threat reaches penetration point to their location. The Mayanbula Beauties appear to be a united force to reckon with standing together as a unit so I don't think that the intruders will have an easy time with these girls if it came down to that. It's great to hear the Mighty Powerful Skorro Males Vocalizing and I hope that they get on back before these youngsters potentially reach the cubs and other girls. Hopefully, this lioness will not lead them to the other members. I agree in that this is certainly very interesting and very unexpected. I wouldn't want to be in these two shoes when the dominant tanks arrive. Mr. Christof, due to the distance of which these two nomads travelled to get to Skorro territory, is it possible that these two were sedated and moved into this territory? I ask this question because, Allegedly, it is known to happen on reserves. What is the distance from the location of where the nomads came from to this location? Also, do lionesses have a sound that would alert pride members of danger or intruders or are they known for specifically luring potential threats away from the cubs and other pride members? Are the lovelies with the cubs in the range to smell the infiltrators? If they were to smell the intruders, would they move the cubs closer towards the direction of the Skorro Males vocalization area and will they send distress calls out to the Skorro Males or remain quietly while moving the cubs to safety? The nomads know not to vocalize to make their presence known to the big guys, so, are the Skorros to far away to pick up on the nomads scent at their (Skorros) current location? How far away are the Skorros from their pride according to their vocalization calls? Will the Skorro Males sense danger or if other animals send out warning calls where the intruders are, will the Skorro Males hear those danger warnings and investigate? Sorry for all of the questions, however, if you don't ask questions, you don't gain knowledge, you're left with only questions and no answers to contribute to gaining knowledge. I don't wish harm or death to any of these precious and majestic creatures and I hope for a good ending for all involved, but, the cubs and pride members safety, protection, and territory are first and threats must be handled accordingly in the wild as in life in general. Now that the intruders are here, will you be back out tonight to see if anything transpire or will you come back out early in the morning to see if anything transpired or if other staffers are out and see or hear anything exciting or interesting occurring, will you receive a call and then you go to the site of the event? Although a monkey wrench has been thrown into the mix, this is still another welcomed sighting well presented, thank you!

Thanks again for commenting Jennifer! The females would react immediately if they had to either smell, see or hear the new males close by, and if all the lionesses are together or at least out number the two new males they would definitely fight them off! Maternal instinct in these big cats are very strong. These Lions occurs naturally out here so they haven’t been relocated like others. You are right, there are lions that is relocated into the National parks at times. Great for genetic diversity. It is such a privilege to watch this lion soap opera unfold for a living and I can’t wait to share the rest of my footage that I’ve captured the last few days! My time is limited because the lodge is super busy but il try my best to keep the episodes coming! Thanks again for the lovely comment Jennifer much appreciated 🤗🦁hope I answered your question 🙋‍♂️

Territory is everything to the lions. Omg, don’t want the young Blackdam & Monwana males in a fight with the Skorro male residents. Please magnificent ones, be better than hoomans, don’t kill each other. So scared for the 11 cubs. Is there a way to safeguard their survival? Wow, the 2 older kings announced their presence & kingdom. Aww, look at these 2 young, majestic princes on the alert to assess their circumstances. Be well & safe handsome boys. Never know how a fight goes down , Size and experience sometimes don’t guarantee the outcome , Hope it goes well for all and these two ,the Prides guardians didn’t patrol that side the night before , Sure they will this night , I remember some Mapogos chasing two out and the narrator saying They will never return to this area and feel it deep in their bones ( something like that? ). Waiting for the next video patiently , Funny how some of Africa reminds me of the foothills I walk in since a kid and when the landscape & animals there are indigenous and still doing well I can be out hiking and relaxing all day and end up on a sandbar by a fire with all the amenities and heat what the night will bring , heard a Mountain lion take a big mule deer down a couple years ago as I was above the canopy of this basin and it was quiet as possible and the last breaths of the deer and brush crashing left no doubt on the outcome , Big make cat spotted a week before May of been the culprit , hear about one’s on the news that normally are ran out of their home ranges by the bigger rarely seen dominant solitary male cougar , Big territories too , Not quite the same as Africa but can be exciting and unpredictable, Seeing something one late eve outside of Lake Tahoe back in a alpine rarely visited lake I saw what was not suppose to be there or anywhere , Close enough and quietly got out of dodge , Bipedal and nine ft talk being conservative , Second time I ever mentioned this , I don’t backpack alone anymore or see the areas like this the same ever again , Still just feel not the same , Be careful out in any wild environment and use if you have it your sixth sense , it comes with time out in the wilderness , at seven at a cabin back in the woods forty minutes from the crowded valley we had a log cabin and I went at pre dawn very far to return at the late afternoon and eat and out fishing or just exploring , Was young but felt protected and comfortable always in the outdoors till the experience i for some reason expressed on this site , Love these sites , Take care all and be safe !
