We are supposed to be both. A republic is defined as a state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected president rather than a monarch or an oligarch. The definition of a democracy is a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible voters of a state, typically through elected representatives. We the people elect our president and our government representatives. In a nutshell, the difference between the democratic party and the republican party lies in their virw duties of the state government vs the federal government. Democrats tend to want to make rules that affect the entire country and republicans tend to want to reserve that power for the individual States

I don't trust Kennedy, and here's why. Did help Trump during Covid? Nope. Did he call out the Fauci/Pfizer corruption when it could have mattered? Nope. Instead Kennedy quietly wrote a book about it. Although it's a great book, Kennedy gave Fauci and Pfizer free reign to do whatever they wanted. Thus millions suffered due to Kennedy's inaction, Trump got blamed for it all, and that got Biden got elected.

There are great sources in the US, but you won't find them on mass marketed tv or cable. Because news will always contain the perspective of its source, it is very important to follow a wide range of differing sources. Podcasts, publications like Epoch Times, X for individual journalists, Getter and Truth, Revolver.news, Substack, Citizens Free Press, there are so many great sources.

Pay attention to the war going on , with self sustainability. Big Food has been at this a long time, Americans used to be given bags of free seed to grow their own crops until Big Food lobbied it away. There has been attacks on the Amish ( you have to be real scumbags to give the Amish a hard time.) Now no matter how many chickens you have, they want you to register them with the feds for "disease awareness." And they lobby on local levels to prevent you from having any sustainability at all. In California you now can't grow more than half an acre of food without expensive water dishcharge systems, pricing it out of normal peoples, and small farmers, hands. Mind you, in order to grow enough food to sustain yourself, it is one acre per person per year. People need to pay just as much attention to local politics, if not more, as they do federal.

Yes, we are getting poisoned. I've lost 45 pounds just in the last year because it feels so much better to fast and give my digestive system a break from all the posions. Eggs, potatoes, rice, and chicken are the only things I eat because I don't get sick off those four foods. Some candy, too.
