I honestly enjoy this version of Tucker rather than the FOX version
@HostileTakeover555
27 күн бұрын
Oh yea the version where he openly LIES more. ALL THE EVIDENCE SHOWS NIXON WAS THE ONE WHO WEAPONIZED THE GOVERNMENT. He’s also lying about Woodward and Bernstein. Woodward was on a low level assignment covering the arraignment. When the judge asked who they worked for they admitted “CIA”. When he heard that he took the story from there. The newspaper barely gave it any coverage for a while. (It actually started before his re-election). This is all backed up by the widely available facts and evidence.

Why because he can openly lie now??? Literally everything he said here is a lie. Let’s just start with the fact Woodward WASN’T just “handed” the story. He was on a low level gig and overheard the burglars admit who they worked for and he took the story from there. The story WASN’T a big one at all and didn’t even get much coverage initially by the paper.
@HostileTakeover555

He’s OPENLY Lying- unfortunately my comment explaining why keeps getting deleted. It was NIXON who WEAPONIZED the government. All the EVIDENCE and facts show that including his own words!! He’s also wrong about Woodward and Bernstein

Yeah, Bob Woodward has been playing the role of a journalist for decades now. Somebody should tell him Nixon’s been dead for a while now. It wasn’t uncommon for men of that era to have some sort of military background since we still had the draft, WWII and the Korean War. Nixon himself had served in the Navy during WWII. Tucker is counting on people not thinking critically about the BS that falls out of his mouth.

The problem with Nixon is he tired to fight back against his enemies. This is despite him doing what the state wanted him to do. He actually championed a lot of left wing policies (i.e. EPA). But he would not play the heel like a good Republican does. Republicans are supposed to be the bad guys so Dems have someone to blame. McConnell and Romney plat this role very well. and they stay in power.

He’s lying - Contrary to popular belief the story DIDN’T gain traction quickly and took a while for people to investigate. Even during the trial one of Nixon’s supporters was forced to acquiesce because the evidence against him was SO bad. Also, Woodward was on a low level court gig and happened to hear the watergate burglars being arraigned. When the judge asked who they worked for they said “CIA” - he took the story from there. The newsroom didn’t take it seriously for a while until they called the head of his re-election campaign.

The story WASN’T a big one at all and didn’t even get much coverage initially by the paper.

These facts have been out there for a long time, but it's refreshing to hear Tucker voice it and present it concisely in a few sentences. Most people probably have no clue about how deep the rot goes within the govt, nor how long it's been there.

I love JRE and I watch it a lot and I watch Joe. If you watch the entire interview, it’s like Joe’s trying to dominate Tucker for the first hour, and tuckers just unfazed and he’s not trying to dominate anybody. He’s just saying his truth. But then, as we start to go through this, Joe starts to realize hey this guy really knows some stuff and I might wanna listen.

@@animaniacs538 the relevance is Tuck's arguing Nixon's impeachment was a set up when it was in reality a major self own. Nixon was a bit paranoid and erratic and his people were obviously too inept and amature, getting caught breaking into an office attempting to gain an unnecessary advantage on the opposition party (he was on track clear winner for re-election anyway), Then the recording devices Nixon had set up in the Oval Office to try and source possible leaks were the very thing that implicated him planning to obstruct the investigation into the break in his own people planned on his behalf..facepalm. that's like mic'ing up the lounge to catch your gf cheating and then cheating on her in the lounge.
Its amazing what not having someone shove a narrative down your throat and being able to speak freely does for a person. This version of Tucker is a good one.
