Guys, I'm like 10 mins in and I just realized that maybe you haven't seen Cabin in the Woods. If that's the case... please, do it! (btw, the least you know about it, the better, since it has some of my favorite twists in cinema) If you like Tucker & Dale, you'll probably love that one. And you seem to be the perfect audience, regarding metacommentary and being movie-savvy enough to appreciate it as a wild AF love letter to horror. The problem is: for all its greatness, it's not THAT well known, so I doubt it will win any polls. If you sometimes like to jump blindly on a hunch to reactions, please consider Cabin in the Woods. I think you'll have an amazing time

@@underAtack it's just the same movie, but with parts edited out, and little extra's added, where you can't see them. Like when the cop goes to the cabin. Instead of seeing the cop walk in and push over the beam. It cuts to the cops being thrown out with the board in his head and the next part when the kid grabs the cops gun. Instead of seeing him fiddle and being told to take off the safety. It cuts to his head getting blown off.

little fun fact for the pickledd eggs : Tyler Labine (Dale) and Alan Tudyk (Tucker) laughed so much during the scene at the gas station that they had to repeat the scene a lot, because of that Tyler ate almost 2/3 of those eggs. when you watch that scene again you see that the eggs are differently filled in every shot ^^ i realy love this movie :D

I met my blonde California wife while she was a USC business intern at the plumbing supply company where I worked. Long story short she can drive our tractors better than I can and can out shoot me beyond 200 yards. I won. She actually detests visiting California now. I won.

The guy who plays Chad is also in the movie Ginger Snaps, which is an actual horror movie, and is also REALLY good.

"I should have known if a guy like me talked to a girl like you, somebody would end up dead" might be one of my favorite lines ever.
What's unique about this movie to me is that the comedy in most, if not all horror-comedies, is the comedy is almost soley derived from the horror itself in most cases. In this movie, the comedy is driven by your classic, old-fashioned "case of mistaken identity" comedy, and it's brilliantly executed!! I'll always have a soft spot for this one😊

Dear gawd! Watching y’all reacting to this movie was awesome. 😂😂😂
Tyler Labine (Dale) also played Burt (Sock) in the ABC series Reaper. Which was sadly cancelled after two seasons (due to the writers strike). One of the funniest series ever.
This was one of the funniest movies I've seen recently and re-watching it, it loses nothing.
Tyler Labine is like if James Corden were actually likeable. He's also in Escape Room, which has some really good thrills. Also I think you've been the only channel that realized Chad was the guy at the very beginning.
Wash and Sock are the perfect comedy duo.
I'm glad you guys got a chance to watch this. It is one of the those movies I share when people say they can't do horror. It's a surprisingly good gateway into the horror genre.
One of my all time favourite movies. In an older iteration of the script, Tucker was supposed to die at the car crash, but test screenings really hated that so they changed it up. Many of us fans have been pushing for a sequel
It's funny you mention seeing theaters because it had a very limited release in theaters. I saw it video on demand when it came out.
I picked up a copy of this movie from a bargain bin at Walmart. One of the best bargain bin finds I've had in years.
"Edgar Wright jump cuts"...lol, that's pure Sam Raimi.
What the hell are pickled eggs? Well, do you know what pickled cucumbers are? Damn tasty, that's what. So are pickled hard-boiled eggs. They just take on the flavor of whatever you decide to put into your pickling mixture. Spicy pickled eggs rock.

Hey, you guys are phenomenal.. love from Croatia.. I don't miss a reaction, but it was about time I left a comment..
Your banter makes every reaction enjoyable. Don't change, guys. If you want an underappreciated 80's gem to watch in the future, I can recommend Streets of Fire. One of Willem Defoe's earliest roles, Rick Moranis being quite the uncharacteristic asshole and a banger of a soundtrack.
This is the most unique movie I've ever seen, and I love it
If your reaction upon seeing Alan Tudick is ''it's the guy from Dodgeball'' you definitely NEED to watch Firefly and then Serenity
Im so glad youve finally watched this, its a masterpeice!
I think the best way to describe the comedy of this film is the American version of the comedy you seen in Shaun of the dead and hot fuzz.

I was lucky to watch this movie in theatre back then when it came out. It was my last year at school (German Gymnasium). I went there with a couple of good friends I would later not manage to stay in contact with after we had graduated from school. I didn't expect much from the movie, but I ended up laughing my ass off the whole time during as well as hours after the movie. Such an underrated movie... I still remember that day very well. It's one of the last things we did before we lost track of each other and it's one of my happiest memories connected to these guys. Long story cut short: To me, this movie has been extremely remarkable and it is one of those little treasures from the good old times you will most probably show your sibling's future kids one day for them to confirm what a strange goofy uncle you are.

Because it's too good not to atleast try. Have you seen Army of Darkness yet? Because Bruce Campbell is the best, or Bubba Ho-Tep? Which is about Elvis vs a mummy haha
Dale had a Henrietta Deadite tattoo because the cabin is from evil dead. You must see the firefly series and the Serenity movie.
Saw this when it premiered at SXSW in Austin in 2010. Had high hopes for it and was not disappointed. Makes a great double feature with "Cabin in the Woods"
I've actually seen other people reacting to videos and you guys are still by FAR my faves!! Always love the energy!! Keep up the good work~!!!
Tucker & Dale are literally my 2 favorite characters ever in a movie
Glad you watched this movie. It's so good going into it blind and experiencing it for the first time, so I love the fact that you guys were able to capture it in this video.
You mentioned the pirate from dodgeball, but treat yourselves to anything in Alan Tudyk's body of work. I think you guys would particularly like the series "Powerless"
You should find the DVD version because in special features, it has a version of the film only from the college kids perspective (about 10 min of memory serves).
That scene where dale runs into the light in the woods looks identical to the movie poster for The Thing.
I've been meaning to watch this movie for years, so thank you dudes for giving me a reason to cross it off my list in order to watch this video. It did not disappoint. Tyler Labine is so wonderful, I love him in everything I see him in. You don't have to review it, but you should catch him in the show Reaper. He was also Hunk in the Netflix Voltron series, which sadly went downhill after season 4, but that wasn't his fault. And I laughed when you recognized Alan Tudyk as "Steve the Pirate", instead of Wash from Firefly, which is how most people know him. The guy's a legend, and he's my favorite Joker by far. This was a delightful surprise to see pop up on my feed, still looking forward to Kung Fu Panda 2 or Vegas Vacation!
Just wanted to let y'all know, one of your videos came across my suggested the other day and now I've watched a bunch. Love your content. The Princess Bride reaction is my favorite so far.
They took a lot of inspiration from Sam Raimi, the cabin is made to look like the cabin from the Evil Dead series
There was additional DVD content that cuts all tucker and dales good guy scenes and turns it into like a 10 minute short horror film..was amusing
Great reaction, its incredible how invested we become in Tucker, and Dale especially, within the first 20 minutes of the film, a tribute to their skills as actors
If you want another great movie with Alan Tudyk try A Knight's Tale. Also starring Heath Ledger and Mark Addy (King Robert Baratheon from GoT). Stellar cast, great action and very very funny.
This movie is so awesome. I watched it about 10 years after it came out. I watched it with my wife a second time and she also thought it was awesome and hilarious. Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine have amazing chemistry too.
Hey Collage kids! We got yer friends!!!!
there is hardly any other such movie in which so many people die in ridiculous accidents!!
Another great one. Keep up the good work guys, y'all never fail to make me smile. If you are running out of funny movies, Bill Murray's "The Man Who Knew too Little" is one y'all might not have seen yet
7:04 That's exactly what I said when I first saw this movie!!!! 😂
Great idea for a crossover, guys Tucker & Dale meet Val and Earl(Tremors). I adore this movie, and I wish someday it would be like The Rocky Horror Picture Show with costumes and props, midnight showings and audience participation.
Love your reactions and the channel in general. There is something strangely satisfying and exciting watching people with a real passion for cinema like you watch and react to some of my favorite movies... But PLEASE tell me you both haven´t seen "The Cabin in the Woods" yet... that should be high on your list! Much Love from Germany
People tend to mostly shower praise on Alan Tudyk (and rightly so, he _is_ phenomenal) but for me at least, the two most brightly shining stars of this movie are Tyler Labine (Dale) and Jesse Moss (Chad). They both really make you _love_ and _hate_ their characters, respectively.
“No… no it’s college kid blood” is one of the best lines in movie history
Happy to see Tuck and Dale vs Evil get some love. I think you guys would enjoy John Dies at the End 2012.
Such a great time and you two are great as always! Someone in the comments recommended Bubba Ho-Tep and I couldn't agree more. An excellent Bruce Campbell film with a weird-ass concept that just works beautifully.
