Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

so had this system on my bike for a year now and have been using it all the time
since i have had a puncher & done some longer trips on this i thought i would share
so the only problem i really had was finding a pump that would work to 110psi with somewhat ease
a link to the ONLY pump that workd of the 5 i tested was thase two
the small one i can take with me (just in case)

and the bigger one i keep in my garrage

Its a fork pump for a mountain bike. Actually a great idea. Link doesn't work for us in the states, but I'm able to source the pump. Great tip! ONly issue is volume is limited and will wear your ass out pumping up the low pressure side for road riding... or carry two pumps.

I wonder if the co2 tire inflators will hit 100 psi for the tubliss

That pump looks pretty good. If my electric pump doesn't do as described I may invest, although until I lose the tubes, and hand pump will be fine for just adjusting pressures between road and dirt! :-) I am tempted by the Tubliss system, but it is money

You can find the kit for both wheels for about 150 on a good day. And I know someone who can install it for you 😉 for a reasonable price ofc

Been a couple years I see but go to harbor freight and buy a real compressors. We have tires on everything we drive so it’s a good investment. Also make sure to balance the wheels. Mine were way off balance. Because of the bead lock

Hey Pezza, upon reflection would you still recommend the tubliss system? Also how did you manage with insurance for the bike when you told them about the modification?

Yes recommend, I forgot to tell insurance company 🤦‍♂️🤔 I guess we would have to even if we put in UHD tubes with Rim locks

It’s a difficult one really as if you didn’t declare it and you had an accident would the insurance company pay out? Also when I emailed tubliss to check if they are road legal here in the UK they said there not? Loads of people seem to be using them though so I’m not sure what to do really? I really like the idea of them.

@@iangriffiths9930 if they are installed correctly I think they are safer then tubes, the tyre can't come off the rim in the event of a flat. Yeah you are not ment to use them on the road but people also uses mooses on the road and there really not safe

My biggest question is, is it OK to use the tubliss system on the road at speeds up to 100km/h for a long time? I mean can you go for a trip riding for about 40km/h on the road and then hitting the trails or they aren't good to use on the road?

It's not a big deal if it's not exactly 100psi, can be 90 or 80, has worked for me. The copycat product NoMousse recommends 80psi. There are bike pumps that can switch between hight pressure and low pressure mode, Topeak roadie 2stage for example.

The word is puncture pronounced "punk-chure" not puncher, which is what boxers do for a living.
