I guess my question would be - if kenny leaves would everything fall apart and have to be rebuilt from scratch, esp. if his players (for teh most part) go with him. That is depressing as hell. Yeah, I get a great coach could be hired, requiring another rebuild. Just such a bummer. The Uconn guy built a dynasty. So did Pat Summit, Tara Vanderveer, Dawn Staley. Kenny could too.

Yeah. I think VA tech pretty much would have to start from scratch Those other greats started younger than Kenny. He’s already 55. So I don’t think it’s an apples to apples comparison. Plus it’s harder to build dynasties in the transfer portal era and increased parity.

The only difference is… those schools all pay their coach what they’re worth.

Felt like the ladies left it all out there. Can't be upset with the effort and persistence. Now the big question, what's next for Tech bball (men and women)
I was shocked that the Baylor coach didn’t get t’d on the 1 and 3 quarters.
I have more concern about what players he'd take with him, including new recruits. Clara said in the post game that she couldn't have found a better coach than in Kenny. I think we'd lose her, and others. Could decimate the program.
They said Georgia is top 10 draft pick, after seeing what happened to Kitley it would be best to go on to the W. Great season proud of all these HOKIEs
Potentially losing Strack and Silva and Haslett, etc….that would royally suck!
Kitley king and prob Amoore are gone. I think Kenny takes the Kentucky job. More salary for him and asst coaches, bigger operating budget, has its own women’s hoops facilities. He’d have to rebuild either way at Kentucky or va tech. Plus he has not denied rumors in his interviews. He just kinda dances around the questions. Def feels like it might be the end.
Who is wondering if Brooks leaves if he takes Straack with him.
Watch out for wenzel next year
Love Clara, but she needs to be stronger. Many of her shots seem to barely reach the hoop.

That was the plan. I was at the opener vs ECU that year. Of course the next week LSU annihilated Tech and Beamer putting in Tyrod he pretty much said the future is now.

@@chrisjudd6the same was in 2008 too. They wanna to redshirt Tyrod but the offense was so bad under Glendon in the lost to ECU at ECU they had to burn his redshirt.
Baylor was more athletic than tech.
