TS2022 Special: The Wreck of the PRR Federal (1953 Washington, DC train crash)
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This is a TS special I wanted to do for quite some time, recreating the events of the 1953 Pennsylvania RR train wreck in Washington, DC. (Similar to what I did with the 2016 Hoboken train crash a few years back.)
This recreation does not follow the original format of my Rail Disasters series. Rather I want to upkeep my tradition of recreating rail crashes through simulation. Good friend Railashup Productions has been doing his own TS rail crash series so go check him out: / @raillashupproductions...

Your depiction of Union Station, Washington DC (USA) reflects the building after a major renovation in the 1980s. The multi-story structure to the left of the wreck is a parking and bus transfer facility which didn't exist in 1953. The GG1 was lowered into the basement of Union Station for disassembly, and the giant hole was covered with a temporary floor, just in time for arriving crowds attending President Eisenhower's inauguration on January 20. The old days when things got done quickly in Washington. Long past.
Wonder if this accident was inspired and used for the final scene for the movie silver streak

Happy new year Penn Central 670!
I just love how the NPCs on the platform have ZERO sense of urgency 😂
I don't think they had hamburger billboards in 1953. Lol! But still, a very good video.
I sure did miss these, great video!
Great Video next try recreating the April 3rd,2016 Amtrak crash the train had ACS-64 #627 leading
This is always a pleasure. I'd love to see you tackle the Westminster co collision
