@theactionlab Do you think that a similar type of light diffraction sheeting/film could be adapted to direct more light into solar panels from any angle, so they'd be more effective at harvesting light energy when they aren't perfectly aligned with the sun? Is that already a thing? Can you do a short on it or something? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeasse!!! And, of course, THANK YOU for all your awesomely informative videos!!!
This is pretty easy to conceive. You just need the light ray to transmit in random direction.
Buying the shield: Expensive Making the shield: Probably a lot cheaper... Maybe. 😂 LoL
You can stick this to your large window of your house for avoiding peeking Tom seeing you from outside
is this only one way and you can look through from your side? also whats the wavelength range to still work (1-2 sigma atleast)?
Really cool
Thanks.

@TheActionLab can you make a video on how do particle accelerators work?
Blocking heat is going to be harder
Guess it's time to prepare countermeasures to future autonomous killer drones lol
Yes, you can hide behind the shield, but you need to run to this shield before dron catch you
The human eye would be extremely horrible at seeing this at night I would think
as long as people dont see the shield you're completely invisible
If what I think I saw is correct, the bumps of the shield were like parallel lines of waves all having the same wavelength, which seems to be spreading the light in lines. What if the bumps were more like individual mounds which would spread the light in all directions? What if the mounds had an assortment of different sizes? And what if the edges of the shield were not straight lines but were a fractal like geometry which made the edges of the shield difficult to see?
I can't see you, but I can see a big translucent rectangle that you are hiding behind.
0:22 bro unlocked the new dimension 💀💀 imagine tribal seeing this
this make me wonder what happen if you stacking 2 shields, one is vertical and the other horizontal, can you hide both vertical and horizontal object at the same time?🤔
@FZs1
19 күн бұрын
At that point you could just have a translucent sheet. It hides you, but also your background turns into a blurry mess. The ingenious part of this design is that it can keep the background relatively intact if you use it in front of horizontal stuff. (In front of a white wall, you could even hide behind a white sheet.)
Finally I can take a break from Duolingo.
sick!!!
try light-weight mirror plexi-glass panel instead
Skip the cube....make it into an umbrella!
Have you tested how effective this is at night? I'm wondering if it will be more effective against the human eye at night as the blurriness might not be as noticeable.
it's a horizontal blur shader!
This is crazy
Ah, selling out for a novelty, got it.
Wow. I wonder which magicians will try to use this!!
interesting, next question, can you hide from IR camera or night vision camera with it?
What happens if you take two of those shields put them behind one another but turn one by 90 degrees? Would this combination hide vertical and horizontal objects? Or would it undo the shield (probably not)?
I imagine the US military is going to be very interested in this.
It seems incredibly impractical and with how obvious it is, to anyone actually trying to find you, hiding behind a nontranspranent sheet would be just as useful.
You can hide things also horizontal, waves in 1 drection hide things in 1 direction, if 2 directions, these waves forms balls, you need half of a balls-shape. Sadly this blurrs the image and will certainly lose vs the image re-direction construction which let the actual light rays distract to the sides and re-unify behind you. Which results in a perfect invisibility and clear image of the things behind you. (Except the frame is slightly visible, if not formed like a lens.
Forget camo clothes, this is my new hunting attire
As the horse, i can confirm he did hide me👍👍
Question. what does it look like from the other side? can you see through it?
@actionlab What uses more energy cycling/ walking?? If walking we need to pull more weight (cycle) If cycling then why one does not finds him tired ????
@Faizan29353
16 күн бұрын
cycling is more efficient just like sometimes pulling something is more efficient than pushing it converts your muscle energy into movement really well instead of you trying to pull a cycle, it would be disruptive hence lots of force lose + friction would increase, the cycle as well as your shoes so.. that contributes to it well
But it didn’t hide ur shadows 🤷♀️

I seen this black plane that was like some sort of drone. Nobody was in it. There’s no way was way too small, but it was really big. Loud when I got over top of me, it literally looked like if you put a small triangle inside of a big one that was like half the size and then you remove the small triangle and what’s left is what it look like but the wing tips at the back Were angled a little bit so if you stood it straight up on the back wings and had it pointing straight up in the air, the back wings wouldn’t be flat be a can’t find it anywhere online or you could buy it or found anyone on KZread flying it. Someone had to have made it but I’ve only seen it flying at night and I’ve seen it two different times like a month apart and one time it was like about 10 miles away from the other spot, so it obviously flies pretty the thing is pure black and when you’re far away, it looks like a flying saucer somehow the way the lights are you always see three no matter what it wasn’t trying to hide. It had one flashing red light in the middle of it it must’ve been pretty big. It was cause it flew pretty slow, but it was loud when it got over top, three times the height of the trees it was flying i’m guessing somebody made it. I just really really wish I could’ve seen it better. It flew right over to top of me. I stopped at a stop sign and it flew right towards me right over top of me. It was just away and it was pure black you couldn’t even see it barely see out line of it barely on the night sky like I mean barely see it. I imagine if I got out of the car without the dashboard and lights on. I probably could’ve saw it but like the noise it was making it how it sounded and how many miles away from the first spot it was and how the first time I saw it it’s just circling around the same spot, like checking out weird like the way it’s hovering around and like almost searching for something and then the second time I see it. It’s basically cruising around doing the same thing. I imagine it’s just some kid messing around looking behind peoples houses places they’ve never seen before. There are mansions around my area that don’t even know about that luxury areas that you live here 80 years not even know they were there and you’ll drive past it every day, so I understand why it was hovering around like it was at the first spot and it wasn’t trying to hide it was clearly lit up. It had a red flashing light on it as soon as I stop my car the second time I seen it I tried to record it, and I accidentally turned the flash on and that’s when it started coming towards me, and it flew right over me super slow I mean this thing had to have been like 6 to 8 feet wide
Shadow: I'm gonna end this man's channel.
I wonder if this can be used (or maybe already used) as "camouflage" in military settings. From ambushes to hiding entire columns of vehicles.
