I’ve been in the mirror industry for 11 years, & grew up with it before working in it. Usually wardrobe mirrors are 1/8” thick, real thin. I’m surprised it didn’t break on that concrete, when he stepped on it. Let alone when he dropped that golf ball. Scared the living crap out of me xD

well the mirror not breaking is all dependent of surface area and pressure, with the flat concrete under when he steps on it spreads his weight evenly on the glass floor and concrete but if it was over that crack he showed it was more likely to break as it would create an area of pressure on the glass as he step over it causing the mirror to bend. the ball if thrown could have broken it but it dropped due to gravity wasn't too much force and the same as stepping on it applies but as well the ball compresses before it bounces back which increases the surface area as well.

There was an art installation at the national gallery of art in the late 80's. It was an entire room of mirrors and you had to wear booties to walk around in it. Pretty cool, I'll never forget that experience.

I love the way you think. I was counting reflections to see te efficiency of your mirrors right from the get go. I had a friend (now passed) who built rooms like this, except that the walls were trapezoidal, so the room was a truncated pyramid. The effect was that rather than being in a rectilinear lattice, you were part of a segmented sphere with a spherical container. Really trippy.

You wouldn't actually have to do that. You could just move in front of a mirror and if the smudge is there then thats the mirror with the smudge. Reflections cant reflect a composite image with true fidelity though an object so when you are between a mirror with a flaw and a mirror recieving that reflection your image will interfere with the reflection of that flaw. Therefore if you can see the flaw, its the mirror directly in front of you.

Out of all the many fears and aversions I have, I can confidently say that casadastraphobia isn't one of them! I hadn't heard of it before and it's good to learn something new. That's a brilliant thing about videos like this. A laser is actually a narrow beam of light, much easier to control and avoid hitting yourself in the eye because the beam is a cylinder rather than a cone that inevitably refracts at every angle after being mirrored a few times.

@@holdupnowyall it doesnt matter. All it takes is one mistake, and I know his laser wasnt the most powerful, its still dangerous and could cause damage. People wear safety goggles shining a laser at a wall for goodness sake, even if they know 100% there is nothing to reflect it back to them into their eyes (not speaking about lasers powerful enough, where the spot on the wall is still dangerous) , always take safety precautions when the risk is damaging your eyes

Any one with the resources to replicate this experiment is very likely an adult and knows by this point the risks involved with not wearing protection. I think its silly to come to video and complain about something that can't be changed.

There is one practical way to have an idea without building this enclosed 6-walled mirror box. In my youth I have been experimenting with the mirrors in some computer game engines and most of them were unable to properly reflect the 2 mirrors on opposing sides. But the Unreal engine was able to do it perfectly. Only it stops around 3rd or 4th reflection because if it goes on, the reflections would be overly taxing on the hardware, so it was software-stopped at that point. But I then went into turning the map into all mirror. And when I played it in Unreal 1 against the bots, unlike me they never miss the target. When I needed to act fast, I remember I sometimes was shooting against themirror while the oponent was in fact behind me. :))))

This was a fantastic video to watch while on Ambien. I give it an 8/10 on the psychedelic scale.
