Great video as usual John. I got this advanced tyre glider a few months ago even though I was a little sceptical. Soon after, I got a flat on my road bike and the tyre glider actually worked a treat even with my fairly tight fitted 700 x 25mm tyre so it is well worth buying😊

Yes its a great bit of kit and actually does what is says it will do. I was honestly not expecting it to work so well on the folding bike wheel just with it being small I thought it might be fiddly but it worked great

When I tried the old version in 2022 it did work but I had to have a few goes to get it right. With this one it just worked first time on both the mountain and folding bike wheel. I think making that slot bigger makes the glider sit at a better angle on the rim..... brilliant bit of kit 👍 If you do get one don't forget the code for !0% off

I brought the original Tyre Glider some 18 months ago and I just couldn’t get on with it. Now I put it down to the fact that I was running both inner tubes as well as a tyre insert (Tannus Armour) in my wheel setup and the glider simply couldn’t handle it. It would be interesting to see if this new modified version could do a better job.

Well when I first tried the original tyre glider you will see in my original video it took me a little while to get the hang of it. But the new one seemed much better to me. Its only had the gap increased apparently but it seemed to make a huge difference for me

Good work, John. I have the original TG and have had an issue where it shredded a TPU tube. Ill buy one of these after seeing your demo.

I had to practice a few times with the old version as I found I had to tilt it away from the tyre to get it working right. But with this one it worked great first time. I think the slightly wider channel seems to make it sit better and work better

Is there a difference between this Tyre Glider and the blue Rehook Tyre Glider?

I am not 100% certain but I think the blue Rehook Tyre Glider a licenced version of the original red one but I am not sure if it uses the new design changes that I tried from Tyre Glider on the red one or not

Load of rubbish using 3 tyre levers was faster.

Whatever works best for you and there is nothing wrong with tyre levers. But when I tried the tyre glider it was very fast and easy to use
