Yea, I am Sebastian. I used to do this back then in 2009, 10!!! _NaGa_Koshu Schit, Game ranger and Voobly was amazing back then. Loved 2011, 12, 13.

Some top used to lure sometimes since 2003. I have done it myself. But was in rarely situations, like when not found all sheeps or lose a boar.

1. def your fault. losing the house at 14:58 meant you forgot to estabilise housing which the build order clearly instructed (build houses when 2 pop away). Pop at 14:58 is 29/30. tsk tsk... Love these old build order videos! Thank you for the content and please keep em coming!!

Until a few years ago, boars also required 2 hits in order to aggravate on villagers. Add the lag and you have disaster. Hence the imperative loom.

That cat removal with one hand while keeping reading the disaster build order was top tier AOE II player haha

You forgot the estabilise economy part haha

It's fun to watch you follow the build exactly but I would also like to see how you would follow the spirit of the build but sharpen it up to todays/your standards, like getting rid of the extra mill/mining camp etc, but still doing the MAA/tower rush in roughly the style described

I played first time AOE on pentium 3 in 1999. My friends brother got the the game. My brain was blown away. I was 7, it was big. I couldn’t stop thinking of this game. Later we all played games like Command and conquer (red alert) and later half life on LAN at the local Internet cafe 🤯🤯 Crazy people still play this game and apparently the graphics are buffed now 😳😳

Hello Hera, very funny video and great content as always, a few things to consider for this BO (btw i'm a random noob from internet, this is what my noob brain thinks so dont take it very seriously): 1-Up until Feudal Age, i think that if you stop vill production you will have enough food to make militia + MAA upgrade 2-The first tower probabbly needs to be a little more "sneaky" so he will not have enough time to react and make a counter tower, also you have to wall it so he cannot attack it with vills 3-The recurrent "stabilize" part for me means, go all in, and when you are winning, make vils 4-Maybe make some more towers in key areas, even make some in your base. 5-Maybe you could have delayed a couple of farms and make an archery range before, a couple of archers or skirms forward could help (and defend with towers in your base) That's all that i can think about atm, keep going with the good work my boi, saludos hermano!, see you in the next stream!

We used to play this in 2000, it was fun then. Gutter_Rat was the one who named it flush. The university was the go to page, and we had printouts of that all of it, for strategy. Good read that was. No concept of internet for amatures, all offline play with hardest AI. Skirmishers were main stay even in good games. And out of sync was the main stay in replaying games :)

Bullshit we played age of kings online since day one. The best thing apart from looking at build orders online was fact the game has always had recorded games and when someone beat you or did something weird you go back watch the recording see if they were clever or a cheat. Cheating was rife because gaming culture is always been that way unfortunately.

@@roblapouple7552 Cheating was never an issue until much later, 2006, when a hacker named Tormentium built, and sold a cheat for the game which cause online numbers to crash by 50% within a few months. That same hacker went on to form IGZones, which turned into Voobly.

This game really does show how the Militia-line would be so much stronger if Drush's speed was increased so the Militia had more time to attack the weak Dark Age buildings. Even the slow, old build had little time to attack them in their weakened state.

I recall that the AK47 Mongol rush was supposed to be the 3 range archer rush that you tried doing recently with another civ.

1.5, you were housed at 30 pop cap for way too long, but that was partly because you were hurting for wood and the build order didn't account for defense and is slower to age up.

Back in 2005 or so, there was a player called Halen i think, that used mongols for 17 pop flush, the army was an archer a spearman and a tower, and yes we walled the towers XD. Great videos!! thank for the content

1, It was your fault. The build order said Build barracks with 4 vills on sheep while in Feudal transition. You already have 500 food so you could have been walking to the enemy's base. Be unseen. When sheep is over, build the mill close to berries and gather. You didn't put the Barracks foundation with the 4 vills before the mill, that's why you had no wood. Good Luck Hera!

Back in the day, luring vill needed two hits to boar, so lag could kill villager ez. Also deer was in group of four, can afford just 3 milita with 3 deers.

Dear Hera, Usually i am a big Fan of your content. This time i was a bit dissapointed. The lack of wood for the barracks was due to the walling. There was plenty of idle TC-time, allthough you had Food. The Tower didnt reach the whole woodcutting-area. I like the idea of retesting the old buildorders, but please give them an honest chance. Nevertheless keep up the Good work! Still a big fan :) No Hard feelings. Cheers from Germany

Hey, I like the section of playing old build orders, but i would definitely tweak them to modern gameplay, avoiding the extra mill, luring deer, so you are up to the today standards, wonderful games though! keep it up :)

This build would definitely work on extreme ai an probably low elo legends at least.

I think what Hera means is that he doesn't need to make the camp that early, which would result in getting the barracks down earlier.

Would be nice if you actually explained correctly why u have to loom its not just ping. The boars would not chase long unless shot 2 times. If shoot once run the board run back .. boars and sheep ysed to be further from tc .. takes longer to lure ue villager idle time walking .. deers were not able to be pushed to tc that is strange game mechanic never designed in original game. So unless you do the spirit of the build nut modernised you aren't do it justice because your enemy wouldnt be using new game mechanics that dont exist in original game

It's ok Hera, not everyone has the skill required to pull off an elite strategy like the AK-47 rush

This is nice, but next time you play a AOC or AOK build order you should at least play with one of those mouses with a disgustingly dirty ball in it

Your mistake was using a wood vill to build a house. Ended up delaying your barracks quite a bit. That said, I soon as I saw this strat and then saw mayans, I knew you were dead here. Also, not a great build anyway. Anyway, good show!
