"It's rare that the move h4 is a mistake" is a philosophy we can all get behind, Harry.
You're my favorite. Your content and personality are the best amongst all the chess channels.
Happy to see you back Simon. Love your videos
Really enjoying the connection between the modern Reti and the Taimanov Sicilian. I think I'll give this a try thanks for the opening suggestion!
This actually seems a really convincing opening. You’ve sold it well Simon I’m tempted
This is a joy to watch. Thanks man. I've done multiple of your courses and love your style thanks for sharing your experience and breaking down this complex game for us!!! Micah from Montana US
Your style and approach to the game appeals to me greatly. I like your chessable content too.
Simon, you’re the best! Great to see you!
16:57 This Ng4 premove could cost a lot if white would play Kh1 or Kh3. Instead you could premove Qh2+!
Love it when you play more strategic lines. Pity that there is not a short and sweet so can check before buying
I'm ready for the reti
A sincere thank you for uploading and sharing
Hello from Argentina! Ribli plays this style. Nf3 followed by c4, always. However, he enters in a Queen Gambit or a Catalan against ....d5 or ....e6 .....d5.
Simon looking sharp
Keep the videos coming! You're the most "real" guy out here.... so entertaining...... that 2nd game... that was just awesome.... straight out of my playbook... I am great out the opening and completly fail in the end...... except you actually pulled out a win.
I watched the short and sweets, played it a bit, and LOVE this approach. So interesting! My only question is: How to play against your favoured Dutch Defence? Saw you smash Titled Tuesday the other day too, nice one :)
Nice one Simon
Love your work Hope the cat is ok Your my favourite chess guy. Well you and Agad mator
GMAneta needed a tissue

@18:00 lol
Yay. Fellow ginger
We want TT! Please❤
Simon, how do you continue after 1 Nf3 d5 2 c4 d4? Black will follow with ..Nc6, e5, etc....Would you give us just a taste of how white continues there? Thanks
at 21:34, why not take the queen and push the e pawn?

@@jackkahn8217 why i asked was i... bought the Jobava London 2 years ago from chessable done by Simon.. so was just wondering if it is still worth playing?! lol

Jobava is incredibly effective if you know your lines. Deceptively aggressive especially if people think you just confused your normal London move order or something

Yes, I feel plans for White flow easily, even if technically the engine will tell you it is equal.
Don't forget to log off!
1:35 isn't that a free pawn?

And a Rook? This is the Owen’s/English Defense, I like this opening 👍

Right?! I was like dude why aren’t you taking that free rook?
Game 3 looks like you played a polish female GM by the name of Aneta.
People who time out should get a immediate ban.
I would have rage quit after that bellend won the second game from a completely lost position
wankety wank made me laugh out loud! i hate people timing out and am guilty of sending quite unfriendly messages to those that do it
