Durian is one of those fruits, you'll hate first, second, or more few times you eat it. But after sometime, you'll just find yourself loving it.

It's the other way around for me😂 I LOVED it at first. So one day, we got some and I was absolutely devouring it, until I ate too much and vomited it all out! Since then, even the smell makes me nauseous 🤢 I tried to taste it again after many years but my body refused, it got truamatised after that incident 😂😭

😮, Dorian is my favourite fruit. If you don't like it you may say it smells bad but if you like the fruits, the smell is great 🤑. But for that prices is very expensive, in Zanzibar, Tanzania it ranges from 1.23$ to 6.5$. The price will depend on the size and the season.

Malaysian here. The last time and best taste I've had is Musang King, before the price skyrocketed tenfold even locally. The creamiest ever. Durians are best tasted where they came from, and if you happen to like fermented food also, try tempoyak (fermented durian paste) or tempoyak-based food that go well with plain white rice.

My teacher bought one for our class when I was in culinary school. I, being a student of cuisine, and also feeling kind of guilty that my teacher had shelled out quite of bit of his own cash for it, decided to have a bite. I went back for thirds. It tastes weird, but also really good? I can't quite describe it. That onion sock flavor is still there, but it gives way to this sweet, creamy, fruity flavor. I'd have more. As long as someone else was buying.
