In the US we have a thing called “veggie straws” they look like straws and have the illusion that they are good for you. Hate to say it’s just another empty calorie snack for kids. Clever marketing though.

YES I agree! I totally forgot about those. I used to eat them all the time as an excuse that it’s “salad” 😅

I had so much fun watching this, Jeanelle! I know it took a lot of effort, so thank you for taking us with you on your trip. Shinkansen hopping from Fukuoka to Sapporo must have taken a lot of planning. So jelly of all the food you tried. From the snacks and takeaways to restaurant meals - did you manage to finish all of it? Because if yes, I'm super impressed!

This was so fun to watch! I remember my first bullet train ride and eating. They had to snack cart from Tokyo to Kyoto. We brought Bento meal from the train station, but couldn’t resist the snacks from the cart. This makes me miss Japan so much! I will eat with you guys there on a future trip 🤤

I think I will! I gotta schedule out a time when I’m home for 30 days 🎉
14:33 Just FYI, the Japanese “salad” flavor is actually “salad oil” with salt. It’s never meant to taste like vegetables. For example, most of the light colored salted rice crackers(not the dark brown soy sauce flavored ones) are salad flavor.
Yes!!! Do it again next year!!! I’m here for it🥳🥳🥳🥳
Thanks for another fun video! Anago(conger eel) and unagi(eel) look similar but they are different species. The package says anago, so if you expect richness of an eel, it should taste different😃

The bullet train is definitely more fun than riding a plane
A lot of fun, very cool slice of life travel food vid. Cheers!
This was very cool. I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the food and snacks you, your family and Lisa tried with you during your bullet train tour of Japan. (A bucket 🪣 list wish trip of mine as well!) Until I can get there, this in the meantime was very interesting, informative, interactive and thoughtful! Thank you 🙏 🙏 🙏 You’re awesome! 🤩
Imagining the ittle joy of opening the decorated box and eating all of them. I bet the movie of Ghibi studio winning Oscar award makes its clear viewpoint...
I'm soooo hungry now. Btw I love how you all are so respectful and quiet on the train. That's something that I had issues with traveling to Japan with a tour group of Americans lol.
Great journey, nice video, watched the entire video. Thank you
This was so fun to watch! I want to visit Japan one day!
Yep I absolutely love those
Told you i was gonna watch it.. 😂❤❤❤ cant wait to watch this 😊
I'm glad to find this! I just decided to go on my first solo trip to Japan.

Nice report~😻ニャ~
Ive never understood how these influencers can eat so much. I can only eat twice a day, or maybe 3 if the meals are smaller. I see them eating giant bowls of ramen, pork buns, bento boxes, sushi, and just so much food in each sitting. It makes me sick a little, so its hard for me to watch a whole video. I like the videos, dont get me wrong, but I dont like that they make me sick
