I used all the products in that line. Then used the gel. My hair looked frizzy and dry. I’ve tried it twice. I tried using a little. I tried using more. My hair was a mess. I have better curls right after my wash and conditioning. I don’t have 4C hair. Maybe that matters.

i was just watching your video on this gel then i clicked on your account to see you’ve uploaded an update video! i felt like the leave in quench made my hair very dry and the gel is very sticky but after watching your video i might give it another go. did the flaking get worse after you made this video and was this style long lasting?

The first time no I had little to no flakes. I did it a second time and idk if I put too much on but I was flaking a lot more.

I couldn’t see my flakes but every time I touched it....snow city lol

Oh no!! That happened to me the first time I tried this. What did you use on top? For me I think it was just too much other product. I’m going to try it again without the rest of the products from her brand

I recently bought this but haven’t used it yet. I haven’t even watched the video yet but after reading the comments, I’m returning. I’ll stick to using Xtreme wet line gel. It’s a big container for only $2.99 and I can find it anywhere. My mom recommended it to me a few years ago and haven’t found a gel that works better and not flake. This has absolutely NO flaking don’t care how much you put in your hair and has a good hold as well as moisturizing without drying the hair out. My hair type is 3C/4A. KZread can create product junkies and also have us spending unnecessary money or too much money when IMO, the old school cheap products work better than these new expensive products that has harsh chemicals for the longevity of shelf life. I would highly recommend asking grandma for haircare tips and product info. I only bought Aunt Jackie’s because it said No Shrinkage. Back to the store it goes.

@@tiandavis3576 Can you order from Amazon? I’m telling you, wetline is by far the best gel but I’ve recently discovered LA Looks from the dollar tree is another favorite staple. I will NEVER waste my money on any other gel. Let me know if you can order or I’ll ship it to you.
