I would like to suggest you use Aunt Jackie's Don't Shrink Gel on soaking wet hair the next time. After drying, put a litll oil in you hands and rub together. Then wipe your hands over your hair to soften the gel cast.

This is one of my favorite gels. The shine is great and it lasts a while. I usually wear my hair a couple of days before breaking the cast though. You hair turned out very pretty!

I had the same reaction you had sis as a male. I was looking for no shrink but I’m guessing it’s a 3c product. It turns kinky coils, to a define curl I think it’s a protection style for 4c to retain curls to train coils to curls. Only downside is it can be washed out which is ok. I assume one’s strand locs would be a nice protection style as well. I enjoyed this video and I hope this comment was informative.
