Right. When I was younger I used to think their was something wrong with my hair since people with straight hair would make unnecessary comments about my hair. Now that I'm older I see that my hair is beautiful. I don't care if that is conceited I said what I said.

@@BlackGirlLovesAnime6 when you’re in the shower your cuticles are still open therefore making your hair more receptive to moisturizing products. Your hair will retain moisture easier and longer when it’s still warm and wet while you’re in the shower versus leaving the shower and your hair starts to dry. I hope that makes sense.

Been using the MHM every two weeks for years now. Simpler and faster version -- Dont wash you hair first, but slather on GREEK full fat yogurt 40 minutes then wash out. Then apply RHASSOUL CLAY/ water mixture . 40 minutes then rinse out preferably in shower then apply your gel. DO NOT apply leave in conditioner, only gel like The Kurly Custard. This method is particularly best for the tightly coiled really kinky 4c hair that may be on the thin side. Thanks so much for sharing this.

  • @themothershyp7788

Someone emailed me. Rhassoul clay provides a bit more moisture (and definition) I find better for kinky 4c. With non metal bowl and spoon, mix 3/4 cup rhassoul, add water starting w/ 1/4 cup, add 2 tablespoons each of olive oil and honey. Add more water/clay in small amounts as needed. Mixture should be on runny side, not thick. My hair moisture and definition were maxed after my third try with this method. It's a godsend for kinky 4cs.

@@ladytoyin Dripping wet. I put it on in the shower after washing out the clay. I use about 1/5 of the jar everytime I wash. Remember, do not use the leave on conditioner because it will lessen your definition. The yogurt and clay will leave you well moisturized and make your curls pop. About once a month or so I also use a clarifying shampoo to really clean my hair of all products.

Thank you for posting this. I did this process just one time a dud amazing results. I admit my hair is really dry with very low porosity and after it didn't appear drenched like yours after the clay, but the hair was holding on to the water only like yours did in the beginning. It was huge progress from the river of water that would normally run down my back. I am going to do this five times next week and see where it goes. However trial 1 already earned me tons of compliments and my hair looks much healthier.
