Hi baltieks, Has there been any modification to the RNG manipulator from the dropbox link? I downloaded the whole file and find myself with an "unresponsive script"(mersenne-twister) when I try to calculate with the switch game option. Doesn't matter which browser I use, the results are the same, keeps loading, then a message pops up to tell me it takes too long to load.

@@maxwai3865 Nothing changed from what I see. Looks like you have too slow of a computer. You either need to ignore the warning and wait it out, or you can open the html file in notepad, look up the value 8000000 by Ctrl+F and change it to 7000000. This will cut the time it takes to roughly half. Hopefully it will be still enough to find the seed.

Got 3 Gendarme on xbox series X. It took about 2 hours to understand the process and to be able to consistently load the seeds(TBH, it only took that long because I was being dumb and not following the instructions properly and it wasnt until I used the values in the video to open the seed on my PC and mess around with it). After that it took about half hour to get 3. Technically it took roughly 10mins but that was before i realised i didn't need to keep closing the game and starting all over again if the chest didnt spawn. Ill list the process I used below for anyone struggling. Chest spawn attempts= 7, Chest spawned 4 Gendarme spawn=3 The good thing is that once you do get your seed loaded and are on in the screen, you do not need to keep closing the gaming and restarting. Ill explain down below. 1) Reach the save crystal next to chest spawn area and switch to the character you want to use. For the record I had only penelo and reddas in my party. 2) Open the file(latest) on PC/Mac(I used Mac with google chrome) and enter the character level, magick power and if you have serenity. I used penelo lvl 99 with 91 magick power(serenity) and had her equip only Maximillian and diamond armlet. Make sure you chose the option PC/XBOX from the drop down box. 3) Save at the crystal just before the chest spawn area and close the game by going to the home screen. Make sure you quit and not just go to home screen. 4) Start up your game and keep smashing "A" all the while keeping one hand on the mouse with the cursor on get time. Now once you click your load file, it will say load complete, you want to wait until you hear the ingame music/sound and press the get time button. For the series X, it took roughly 3-4 seconds to go from load to music. I tried pressing get time as soon as i pressed load game and also right after it and was unable to get the seeds consistently. This is all about timing and something where you will have to use trial and error method. 5) Once loaded in, cast cure 5 times and write down the values simultaneously in the file and click get seeds. If done right, you will get seeds. Trust me it works. 6) Now once thats done, it will take you to a new screen on your PC. On the new screen, type "0" only in the search raw % and click find. It will tell you where the pattern has been found and how many values you need to consume. You do NOT need to SUBTRACT anything for Gendarme just as @baltieks says. Lets say your 0 is at value 58. You have already cast 5 cures so you need to cure/hit until you reach value 57. Now if you hit yourself once, it will move you 10 patterns nearer. Casting curing once only moves 1 pattern. Now in this case if we hit ourselves 5 times, it will move us at value 55 and to confirm, cast cure immediately after and the value you see will be the value at 56. If thats not the value, dont panic. Just write down the value in search cast at the top and cast cure one more time and enter that value and click find. That will tell you where you are. Now if those 2 values are above 58, lets say 106, all you need to is type 0 again in the search raw % and click on next and it will tell you the next pattern and you work your way up to that. It wont mess up RNG and you dont have to restart the entire process. I messed up a lot but when I got it right, the chest spawned. 7) Now assuming you have done every step right, there is a chance the chest wont spawn. Out of my 7 attempts only 4 times the chest spawned. Now if the chest doesnt spawn, just move back to the save crystal area, and repeat step 6. You will have to cast cure at least 2 times and search your place in the pattern. After that, search 0 again in raw % and work your to it and re-enter the zone. 8) Now once its spawned, type in 20+,90+ as @baltieks says in description. Find the pattern, work your way up to it and make sure you cast the value before the one. So for say if the new pattern is at 868 value, you want to reach cast cure on the 867 value and then open the chest with diamond armlet equipped. Do not consume the 868 value. If you did accidentally consume it or your cure value isnt the 867, dont open the chest. Instead search a new 20+,90+ value and work your way up to it. 9) Open the chest and it should be Gendarme. Now for some reason, my first chest only spawned gill and I have no idea why. The next 3 times it worked like a charm so I probably messed up. 10) Now if you have gotten it and want more, simply leave the area and repeat steps 6-8. You dont need to cast cure 5 times and get new seed value. Just cast cure twice and see where you are in the pattern and try again. Yes its a long comment, more like an essay, but I wanted to be as thorough as possible. I probably wont try to get Seitengrat as I am not a big BOW fan. As for the trango, I havent reached the story part where it spawns so I cant comment on it. However, considering that the this video works for Gendarme on Xbox, I am hopeful it works for other weapons as well.

As of 05/15/24, this still works. I used the -23 and got it first using this method on xbox series x.

Just got Trango Tower on swich using this method, however I have to explain some things that maybe ppl could not know. You need to get the seed on the teleport crystal (ensure before a hard reset on your console and it will be almost 100% on getting the seed), then use elevator and get to the Trango Tower chest room. Before entering if you like you could set your party with only the member thant will manipulate rng (Penelo in mi case), enemys will not attack you on this room if you dont get closer to them. Once inside I checked that seed was alredy valid (even with the monsters on the room), however you will not get positions testing on the previous room (I assume is because that room uses random monster pop positions), so I did just a test, got my position inside Trango chest room, went out and back and checked how many positions did I move, did it many times and I got most of the times I got 29 positions so I did the method with -29 instead -22 and I got chest on sencond try. Once it poped follow the 81-96% (at least in both numbers, you could get 90%-100% for example), and got the drop. The good thin is that you don't need to reset if you fail, just get your position inside Trango Chest Room, experiment on yourself and keep trying. Sorry for my poor english, best regards.

17 - 2 - 2021 I Got the Seitengrat Finaly in my Switch Lite , use the RNG With -25 from Pharos First Acent Teleport to Bhujerba , Flight to Rabanastre following like in the video , after that i got the seitengrat :") thanks for the video.

RNG with -25 from the Pharos worked also for me! Again it's not 100% sure to get it as I had to do it 3-4 times before finally get it.

Today, I managed three Seitengrat Bows from Giruvegan and -25, Thank you

Tried on Switch 5/23/2020. It worked for Seitengrat by deducting 23 for my game. I had issues running it at first because it kept saying "No Seed Found", but I noticed my only mistake was not clicking "Serenity" box underneath the Magic Power field. Then, I had to do it 5 times with different subtractions, and also one time where Balthier decided to hit himself twice than needed, thereby exceeding the count by 7. SMH. Thank you, though! I appreciate this guide and also the people that had commented so far.

Damn, i got the luckiest seed possible, pattern was found at position 63, used -23 and BOOM, Seitengrat, thanks for the info!

I got seitengrat with the strahl method subtracting 26. I also got other cool items as well. I’m so grateful for this tool, thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏

For anyone stuck not getting a seed you might want to restart your Switch fully, I tried a lot of stuff but this helped me get seeds. This and sbyk1982 made the method really easy to get going but unfortunately I could not get Seitengrat. Tried -23 using Yensa > Bhuj > Rabanastre route a few times since it is a popular pick but no luck.

Fantastic tool, just got a Gendarme on Xbox by spamming Cure. Thank you!

I managed to get a Seitengrat on the US version of the Switch, with -25, from Giruvegan crystal to Bhujerba, and then picking the flight to Rabanastre. Good luck!

Just got Gendarme on swich, by far the easiest one. Just hard reset swich and load game on the crystal before the gendarme chest room, you can manipulate RNG there, just get the postition before the 1% and then zone to the chest room as @baltieks says, and then get the postition before 81-96 like with the Trango sword. You could get many of those shields in 10 minutes without load game, just keeping RNG manipulation without mistake or other external factors that could move it. Regards.

What number (-21,-22,-23,etc.) did you use and what speed did you go with to get the gendarme shield? I have Switch version but no idea on what number and where to start around the crystal to get it.

So how can you use the programm? When I download it, I don't get any .exe file from it and can't do the manipulation. Would be awesome if you could help me.

Hey mate, thanks for the video. Used this as my main resource over the past few days and got Seitengrat, three Gendarmes, and three Great Trangos. To anyone sceptical of this method: it absolutely works, there's just "inconsistency" in the numbers you subtract. This seems to be based on how quickly you personally are able to execute each timed part (the airship run for Seitengrat or the leave/return for Trango). So you might have to tweak the numbers provided there, but once you find one that works it should work consistently. Personally I used -23 for Seitengrat (worked first time) and -28 for Trango (worked three times in a row). If Seitengrat/Trango aren't working for you, try Gendarme, because that method is 100% consistent. If that works for you, the problem is with your subtractions/timing. If Gendarme doesn't work, you've missed something either with your character or with the script.

It wasn't working for me to get Seitengrat, so I tried you suggestion, went after the Gendarme (got 6) and Trange (got 4). So, it works, tried to Bow, and got a Knot of Rust and 10 gil, so need to figure out what I did wrong

Iván Pérez How many times did it take you? Did -22 work for you or did you use -21, -23, or -24? I have tried -22 five times and the others me time each, with no luck. Just curious to see how much tome and effort I need to put into it before I give up lol. Thanks.

My question is, how are combos factored in? I was trying to track it, and it looked like Penelo getting a 2 punch combo on herself advanced it 30 positions, instead of the expected 20(10 for each hit)

The problem is everyone uses the old version of the program and not the new one so its hard to follow along now.

Hey, i have something to ask ,after i entered 5 value cure spell, i clicked calculate, it said: seed not found. what did i do wrong?

FOR THOSE GETTING "NO SEED FOUND"! I was having a hard time with that. Lots of attempts and it never found the seed. Then I noticed my character had Regen active because an equipped item (Ribbon). Regen probably gets affected by the RNG which ends up consuming it. After removing the equipped item it found the seed every time so far. (maybe OP should put this in the description)

stupid question here how do you do it on switch? do you donwload the app on pc then connect the switch to make it work? because i downloaded the app on my android phone while the switch is on my other hand and it would not calculate 😭

@@throughfujoshieyes8459 The app doesn't connect to the game, it doesn't work that way. It just tries to find the seed of the Random Number Generator based on information provided by us (the 5 initial Cures). There's a formula for that and the app "reverses" it to find the seed to guess the subsequent values and RNG based events. I haven't tested on phone, but on PC just leave "The Zodiac Age (Switch)" selected on the top of the page.

I had great success with this method for everything on Cerobi Steppe, the Gendarme, and the Great Trango (my amount that I had to subtract from the Great Trango position was 31, by the way. It worked three times in a row for me!). I'm off to try my "luck" at the Ensanguined Shield using this. If anybody has any questions on methodology, please message me. It definitely works! I'm trying to understand what the -22, -31 numbers mean, and why are we looking for the 0,0+,0+,0+,0+,0+,80+,95+ sequence?

@@aaron5831 When you find your final line that has a percentage of 95% or higher, the -22 means to use the line that's 22 up from that, or 22 numbers earlier in the RNG sequence. You use the 80+, 95+ to find a particular spot in the RNG sequence that gives you the percentages you need IN THE ORDER you need them, one right after the other. Opening a chest requires two RNG figures, one to determine whether or not the chest will contain an item, and then, assuming the chest contains an item, the second to determine whether the item is the normal item or the rare item.

@@dludi8hn Hi thanks for the reply. I understand all that you've said. What I don't understand is why the -22 number? What does the -22 do? Is there 22 RNG numbers that happen between cure list and boarding the skydeck? Also, for the pattern of numbers, if the chest has a 1% to spawn, then 1% to be the bow, then aren't we looking for a pattern like 99,99 so the first 99 spawns the chest, the second makes sure its a bow.

Okay the pattern makes sense to me now. 1% to spawn chest, then 80+ to get an item, 95+ to get the bow. -22, -23 and -25 are all not working for me. No chest is ever spawned. This is going from Ogir-Yensa Sandsea>Bhjurba>skydeck. I'm using the Nintendo Switch. Any advice?

@@pelonxiio Try with -23. I had 6 failed attempts with -22, then swapped to -23 and got it first try.

I've been doing this the whole day (Thanks to the quarantine) but with no luck. I'm at level 24 (Penelo) and doing it from the same place as the video. Any recomendation besides playing another game?

About the Great Trango (in my case). First, you *must* start from the Red Crystal. The auto-save between rooms apparently doesn't work with the RNG app provided. Find the seed there as explained by the video. Then you must make way to the Subterra Abyssal South and enter the "round" room there. Kill the enemies and leave your cure character alone in the party. Using the RNG app find your current position number on the list while inside the room then write it down (1). Leave the room then as quickly as you can enter it again (hold down as you leave and press A as soon you hear the beep to enter the room again). Find your position again on the list using cure. Write down the position number of your first cure after you entered the room again (2). For example: my first number was 5969 (1), then I left and entered the room again. Now my number is 5989 (2). So it took 20 positions to do that. Repeat it two or three times until you find a consistency. In my case it was most likely 20 if I was quick enough. Then from your current position on the list, find a row with 1%. Check its position number and then subtract *BUT* instead of using exactly the number you found, use N - 1. In my case it would be *19*. For example, for me there was an 1% row at position 6032. Then I subtract 19 and get 6013. THIS should be the position of the value of your last cure before you leave the room and enter again. If you've done correctly, the chest should spawn on the left corner after you entered the room. After that it's easy, just do as OP said and find a row with 81% or more immediately followed by a row with 96% or more. You must consume the cure position right before those two. Good luck!

I have been trying this for an hour now but I can only open the HTML file and it gets stuck when I press calculate. I have tried this on two PCs now as well and still nothing. Is there something wrong that I'm doing? help

Not sure if anyone is around, but I have a few questions. I've managed to get 10 gil or a Knot of Rust when trying for the Seitengrat Bow. I did get one bow and have been trying for another. I managed to get the Gendarme and Trango. I was wondering, as I run up the stairs, should I slow down as I approach where the chest will be, hitting A or just keep going til I run into it. I have been slowing down, and as I get close to where it should be, I hit A. Is that wrong? Before I try to take on Omega, I'd like to have at least one other bow. Thanks. Oh, I'm on the Switch.

Always hit A if going with the default 5x0+ pattern. If you slow down the RNG can move and you will get gil or a Knot of Rust.

Can this work from the Westerland teleport crystal? Or are there too many NPCs? I'm on Xbox one. Also, I don't really understand what I'm supposed to be looking at to know when to try to get the Seitengrat. Is it the percentage number? also I just reached the Sandsea, so I don't have many teleport options.

Hello, I've been trying the RNG manipulation for the Nintendo Switch, Pattern used: 0,0+,0+,0+,0+,0+,80+,95+. I had 3 points the invisible Chest spawn but unfortunately I only got 10gil and Dust of Rust. I did the Starl Method (25,26) and tried the Pharos at Ridorana first ascent (25). I triple check and Vaan is wearing the Diamond Armlet. Any suggestions? why I'm not getting the bow?

Follow up, I got the Seitengrat June 27,2021, Nintendo Switch.I just want to thank @baltieks for making this. The path I did was the the Pharos at Ridorana first ascent >>> Bhjerba >>> Rabanastre with -25. It is not 100%, it took 4 tries to get it with this path. For tips 1.Practice taking the fastest route, holding the right analog stick to the right can help you navigate faster through the stairs. 2. Keep on pressing the confirm button. 3. Perseverance, it took me hours to get mine. Study the RNG guide, practice and be patient. The RNG manipulation works. Best of luck, future readers!

@@zetzuken4932 You are the best! Props to you and baltieks~ I did what you mentioned just once with -25 at Pharos, and I got it! Doing the normal way for HOURS was unsuccessful, and doing the rng process at Ogir Yensa SOO many times yet not encountering the chest once was so disheartening. I can now finally move onto getting more dark energies to finish up the game~

EDIT 1: Never mind I got it to work. Now to see if I can pull it off, thanks. EDIT 2: I was using a stopwatch & if correctly done I see that at 33 sec you got to the door. I tried doing that with the -22 & noticed it took a little longer so I will use -23 or higher to see. So far been at this 2 days now. I am trying to do this on Switch but the program hangs a bit & so far I noticed it likes to work with lower cure numbers & does not like the bigger ones I cast like in the 1k or 2k. If say I load the Rex file it will work on the lower numbers.

So, I turn off my Switch (long pwr button hold => Power options => Power off), turn it back on, launch ff12 and load save asap (standing at Ogir-Yensa Sandsea crystal), cast 5 cures and put their values to the "RNG Cure list", press "calculate", it thinks for some time and leaves me with "No seed found" What am I doing wrong? FF XII - RNG Cure List.html is opened in chrome, also tried Edge. I use Penelo (there is also Larsa guest in party) at lvl 22, 61 m.power, have serenity and the box is checked, The Zodiac Age (Switch) is selected, tried with time of load and without for the same effect.

Hey, Oforfs, probably I had the same problem you are having. What I did: teletransported to Giruvegan, saved there, hard reseted the console (held the button for turning off the console for more than 8 seconds). Well, after this, I did this method of the video there and the number I subtracted was 23 instead of 22. I hope it works for you too.

4/11/21 got the Seitengrat on Xbox Series X with -25. Tried before with -23 and -22 a couple of times with no success. Best of luck to everyone

@@Madxmanix open the RNG cure list file, in "game" select "pc/xbox". Below there is a field called "save file was loaded at" with a button saying "get time". You must click this button as soon as you select to load your save file in the game. (The rng related to the time on your xbox). Also if you lose the seed you must close the game at all and restart, no need to reset the console though. Good luck

Just reporting to anyone playing on New Game - (minus) on Switch, it works as well, and I managed to get the Seitengrat just after the party decides to go to Jahara (after the Dawn Shard event). I used the Ogir-Yensa Sandsea crystal and -25 to get it.

Previous comments and replies ive gotten -23 to work 6 times in a row the giruvegan crystal works for me not sure why sandsea didnt and as for a note for anyone when you are running to get the bow when you are coming up the stairs to the chest on the airship if that npc is. Any further up on the stairs then in the video it means you are late and likely wont get the bow

Has anyone tried on xbox one s? Whenever i set the helper to PC i always get no seed found and if i try to find seed with switch it just crashes, is there anything i have to substitute in the script bc i dont know how to do that or is my laptop just too slow or something

Tried this about a half a dozen times tonight. I've used -22, -23, -24, and the chest won't even spawn, let alone spit up the bow.

@@SquallDNA On switch, and I used the manip talked about in this vid. I think it was a -25 that I got it, and with an extra two 0+ in the mix. Just know if you get the chest with that one and you run to it instantly, you have to wait an extra 3.5 seconds before opening it to let NPCs consume the extra 2 slots

Yeah, following video perfectly. -22, -23, -25 all don't work for me. Is there a reason we don't just go right to the 1% (so -0) and then just quit and load an autosave on the skydeck? Won't that spawn the chest?

I tried that method. Didn't work for me. I'm trying to get this tool but i can't download it...

Mine looks different to this. I keep getting casts not found. I'm past the Pharos. I'm lost and want the bow. I think I make it past the first page but the second one looks completely different. I'm on Xbox and made sure to set my settings that way.

this works as of 30/12/2020 however i tried using a similar method for the cerobi steppes and it looks like on the plains, rng passes automatically so there is no way of knowing your seed or getting what you want from the chests? has anyone managed to do rng manipulation in cerobi on the switch?

Yes, and it's way much simpler compared to getting Seitengrat i think. You just need to clear the area where the chest is first, zoning in and out to spawn the chest, then start doing the RNG positioning. Your goal is to reach a position before at least 81% folllowed by at least 96% spawn rate. With this method, now i have end game armors, weapons, and dark energies, even before reaching giruvegan lmao

Does this work on Xbox one version? If it is, which version should i choose in the selection?

As I said in a comment under the other video. This was meant as a switch method from the start, since there is an easier way to do it on pc already. It works but rng will still screw you over a lot.

This video worked for me on Switch for Gendarme and Seitengrat. However, I am having trouble with it to get the Trango Tower. That said, I did have to make some adjustments to the method for each Gendarme and Seitengrat, but have been able to consistently reproduce the results with my adjustments. Not sure why it's not working for the Trango. It seems the cure list won't generate a seed in the chest room. I've tried loading from another file and using the auto-save after, but no dice. Anyone having better luck for the Trango on Switch?

So I'm able to find my seed and manipulate my position in the list. Thanks for that. I'm not sure how to proceed from there. Specifically, how to interpret the percentages given in the cure list. For example, I'm trying to obtain the Ashura, a rare treasure chest drop in the South Liavell Hills of the Cerobi Steppe. The chest has a 20% chance of spawning. Once spawned, it has a 20% chance of being gil and an 80% chance of being an item. If it's an item, and the Diamond Armlet is equipped, it has a 90% chance of being a Knot of Rust and a 10% chance of being the rare item, the Ashura. So, assuming I've entered the zone and found that the chest has spawned, what is the sequence of percentages I should be looking for? "80+,10-" to be an item and then to be the rare item? Or is it "80+/90+"? or is it just "8-" since that's the overall percentage that it's the Ashura once the chest is already spawned? I've tried all of the above and am not sure what else to try. Thanks!

Okay. I did a LOT of trial and error for a few hours and finally came up with something semi-consistent. I got Ashura 3 out of 7 times when grabbing the chest, with Diamond Armlet equipped of course, right after casting Cure just before a position with percentage higher than 81 that's immediately followed by a position with percentage higher than 91. The times that worked, the positions' percentages were 99%→96%, 96%→99%, and 90%→97%, so I think my threshold just needs to be higher. The positions' percentages for the times that didn't work were 93%→91%, 81%→92%, 82%→94%, and 93%→95%. I'm going to keep playing with it to see if I can pin down exact percentages. FYI for those of you just starting out with this, a couple things that tripped me up sometimes in finding a seed or finding my position on the seed list were: 1) Make sure your caster is fully debuffed (no regen, no bubble, no stat-improving equipment of any kind). To be on the safe side, I just had my caster, Fran, with only the Diamond Armlet and a piece of armor that didn't affect her Magick Power. The Minerva Bustier to be precise. 2) Make sure your caster, if they have the Serenity license, is at full health when you start writing down your Cure casts, as spells are more powerful when HP is full when you have Serenity, which changes the Cure value.

Alrighty. I have perfected this method. I'm getting the treasures I want, at least in the Cerobi Steppe, 100% of the time. You need to open the chest, with the Diamond Armlet equipped, after casting the cure value right before a line with percentage 85% or higher that's immediately followed by a line with percentage 96% or higher. I've narrowed it down to these exact percentages through much trial and error. Please message me if you have any questions; I can help you out.

I did this perfectly. I just didn't remember the diamond armlet

Really I'm having trouble figuring it out alone. I get as far as where my base value is to the point your supposed to turn on gambits to move the RNG but I'm lost at that point. Could use some advice.

I'm having a lot of issues with this. Clicking on the newest Dropbox file only gives me the html Extracting the Dropbox files gives me the Cure RNG List title but saying that the file is not found And clicking on the original link brings me to the original Cure RNG List, but when I input cure data and click "calculate" nothing happens. Help! I really wanna try this

You need to download the zip file and extract it fully (there's a download button at the top left). Just html is not enough, there's a folder in the zip file too that contains vital scripts for the html file to function. That is true for both old and new version, except in the new one I added an error that the file is missing as a warning that you may be doing something wrong. Old version just does nothing when it has that included folder missing.

Will this work for getting the fomahult in the Steppe is there a simpler explanation on how to do this seems very complicated.

I can spawn the chest of gendarme but i can't get Gendarme,i try my cure value is 84%, 86% and 90% , all i get is meteorite. Someone can tell me what am i doing wrong?

Ok, screw this. I keep following the steps, but my position is being sent back. In the end I didn't get Seitengrat but I DID get corrupted game file that forced me to redownload the game. I deleted the save just to be sure too so I'm basically forced to start game over (good thing I wasn't very far in the story, just ater beating the first esper). The moral is, don't try to cheat, kids and follow the rules.

Hi, I am new at this and was able to get the seed and then casted cure 3 times and found the pattern, but I cant understand the part I have to hit myself. For example I got the value 4357 - 22 = 4335. Ok how any times I have to hit myself? and after how many times need to cats cure again to hit find? Very confused here. so when you load the game then start curing, put the first five in the values then calculate. after the list is generated, those first five will be the first five cures listed (#1 thru #5). if the value you need to get to is #4357 (#4335 - 22) then you have to get to #4357. hitting yourself will advance your position from #5 to #15 and curing yourself once will go from #15 to #16. continue till #4357 in whichever you can. and the cure list should be able to predict ever single cure including that position.

Hi, did anyone managed to get it work on low level? I'm on new game- and I cannot get the seed. It work with my level 99 save but not the level 3 save.

I have a problem despite the fact that I download the files from Dropbox to then use them in addition to the fact that I can only choose pc and switch and therefore not Xbox one after I put everything so sereniti level and magic Power and also the first 5 cures when I press calculate the site directly it does not go in the sense that it does not even open and only stays still Ah one thing when I try to joke get Time does not work I tried with the phone because I do not have a computer but I also tried with the Xbox One on the internet there is no way simpler for the seitengrat?

Attacking yourself isn't the only way to move RNG fast. Zoning in and out also works. You can teleport to Rabanastre, wait there for a minute with 4x speed up, teleport back and see how many positions you moved. Or you can let enemies attack you. Stuff like that.

Ok I am been doing it for 2 days now. All number match but no chest has spawn yet I have done -21,-22,-23,-24,-25 any tips PLEASE.

So I've been trying for a couple of days as well. One thing that I realized was: you can't just close the application, you have to restart the entire system for the cure list to be accurate I've been alternating between -22, -23 and -25 (make sure you're getting thru transitions as quickly as possible) (also I saved the game after every attempt) I got the seitengrat on -25. I tried again twice on -25 to get nothing again (im also getting faster on getting to the chest) then again on -23 and got another seitengrat

@@babyboicort9907 In short, yes it makes a difference. It is very unlikely you will find a seed on Switch with the Xbox/PC option.

Managed to get multiple Seitengrat on the Switch following this method. PAL version, saved at the Geruvegan orange crystal. Ashe and Reddas in the party, no buffs active. -21 gave me 10 gil. -23 spawned the bow every time.

@@darcyuchiha938 first off, make sure all the info you've given is correct, that serenity is checked if licensed and that the percentage pattern find is set to 0,0+,0+,0+,0+,0+,80+,95+. Try going from Giruvegan, and when you consume the -23 position make sure you're standing right next to the orange crystal. Go as fast as possible directly to the chest via Bhujerba. Skip all scenes and mash the confirm button past all dialogue, at the flight deck door and as you run up to the chest. Once I tried -23 the chest always spawned the bow. Keep trying for your magic number until you get it. Just make sure your pattern numbers are correct, or you'll be trying to hit an RNG mark that results in nothing.

I used the xbox/pc dropdown, entered my character's stats, no serenity, cold booted/hard reset xbox, loaded in quickly and clicked get time on app, then cast cure 5 times at a teleport crystal, and it tells me no seed found every time. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something

@@Marksterslays2 you do not need to reset the console, quitting the game is enough. About how to get the seed: as soon as you listen the stage song, click on get time/ or instantly after the whole game screen loads.

Hey baltieks I tried to download the app but when I open it it’s unresponsive when I click calculate it doesn’t do anything. Other times I downloaded it it just showed a zip file. Am I doing something wrong

Extract the zip file. Everything is inside. Dropbox displays all files contained in a zip file and people were just clicking on the html file downloading only it, not realizing they need everything for it to work, so I changed the link so it triggers download of the zip file immediately without everyone needing to look for a download button.

When testing this out, got it about 4 times out of 20 blind runs. Back when this was new someone mentioned they made dozens of attempts and still nothing, but then there were also a few lucky stories where someone got 3 in a row or so, or on a first try. It depends, it's still luck but the odds are much better than 1 in 10000.

I'm level 21 penelo and when i attack myself I damage myself. How do i not take damage?

ThroughFujoshiEyes hmmm i downloaded the file on pc... i tried using the file from the zip or downloading the zip in the desktop. U know it work if when u put time option (not really neccesary like it says on the video description) appear random numbers. You only have to put ur lv, magic points, and 5 heal, and wait (could take some time but it will appear)

ThroughFujoshiEyes The switch doesn’t need to be connected. Just try using a pc and open the file from the zip or download and open from desktop. When “get time” show u some numbers do the video steps.

I tried opening the program with all my browsers, but it say javascript must be enabled. But i checked, my java is enabled. Anyone knows how to fix this? "cry face"

Press F12, go to console and see what the errors are... Most likely you just did not put the included "FF XII - RNG Cure List_files" folder in the same directory, so it would say some files failed to load.

That would be hard to do on Switch. It would be similar to the early PS2 perfect HP/MP methods with a difference that the timings wouldn't be constant as RNG list changes every time and the tool would need to be updated to show perfect HP/MP. I don't think it's worth it for how much time it would take to develop a method that would be even more inconsistent than the Seitengrat one, but who knows...

Only that your system time is maybe not synchronized. Xbox and PC need to be within 50 seconds of each other.

You know what guys. Looks like the one Chaos made works now even on PC. I don't know why the game sometimes switches the way the seed is being looked up, probably has something to do with time, don't have time to investigate. I'll add an alternative method switch or checkbox probably tomorrow.

@@xhellgatesx100 Turns out it was really simple. I just read through Tranquilite0's explanation on PC RNG again and made a quick fix. Redownload and it should work if chaosbeelzemon's worked for you.

Do you think this method could be used on the Xbox version? I tried a few times but was never able to get a pattern that the program could find.

Yes but it needs to be adapted. Already did some tests with a guy who wanted to get Gendarme but after he got it he didn't seem to be interested to figure out how to make it work for everybody. For now it's just tuned for Switch.

Im so sad. I just spent like 2 hours trying to get to my RNG position and overshot it by 7

I've been working at it a bit and I've noticed a pattern that dealing physical damage and taking physical damage from an enemy right after seems to work at least on the Cerobi steppe because I got a megallixr instead of Gil for once damn shame Square couldn't bother to fix this problem it's really unfair that we have to go through this because it is a good game and things like this hold it back from being truely great.

You managed to get the RNG running now? I skipped forward to Cerobi and I'm now on a shopping spree for Lordly Robe, Grand Armor and Circlet. Too bad they took away Ribbon from this region in Zodiac Age

@@sbyk1982 I am fixing my computer now but yeah I think you have to open run in extraction folder and the browser has to be consistent with the HTML Link at least for me that was the case I got no seed found but that's a step cuz before it wasn't doing anything so I think I'm on the right track I miss playing it on the PS2 emulator because I could just use save states to get all the treasures even though that's kind of cheating but yeah I'm familiar with this game I've played it many times since it came out over the years the zodiac version is just a little different because like you said they moved ribbons and everything we could avoided this problem if they would have made every chest 50/50 proposition instead with one time spawn like every other Final fantasy game since you really only need one of each of those items each except for ribbons.

If your result is no seed, then you can follow my instructions earlier and you should get a seed. A few key points that you must take note to ensure getting a seed: 1. The area must be free of any guest characters, and other party members, any NPC and any enemy. 2. Make sure you check if your character casting the cure has Serenity or not. Check the check box if have, don't check it if doesn't. If you have Serenity, make sure the character has full health to get an accurate reading. 3. Powering off the switch for more than 8 seconds is a must. Your saving point must be free of any enemy or NPC. Once you load, straight away cast the 5 cures. If you have any regen status or a ribbon equipef, take them off

I finally understand how this thing works. First you need to set up your team first. If you're trying to get the Seitengrat, teleport to Sandsea orange crystal as in the video. Remove all party members except 1 (yeah, no guest). Unequip everything from Vaan (not sure if it matters, just do it) and equip only diamond armulet. The only active party member (I use Ashe so I'll refer to Ashe going forward) should equip all armor but no weapon. Check the status of Ashe (level and license) Input Ashe's level, then check if she has the license for Serenity activated. If yes, check the Serenity checkbox. If no, leave it. Save the game. "SWITCH OFF"/"POWER DOWN" for 8 seconds or more. Switch on the power then keep pressing A to boot up the game. Load your save at the Sandsea. Cast Cure 5 times, input the values of each cure and press calculate. If you have followed the above instructions so far, you will always get a seed. Copy the 0,0+,0+,0+,0+,0+,80+,95+ into the second field and press find. It will show you the position of the 1% value. It's always different. Assume the number is 1067, it means the 1% value is at the 1067 position from your current one. Then you need to move the current value to 1067th position. Subtract this value by 23 (works for me. I have 6 Seitengrat now) gives you 1044. You can either cast cure 1044 times, or hit yourself 104.4 times. Attack self 102 times, then cast Cure 5 times and input the values in the first field to confirm your position. (If you have Serenity and you dealt damage to your HP, heal yourself before casting Cure to confirm your position as Serenity increase your Magick power at full health) Use Cure to fine tune your position until you arrive at 1044th position, then immediately teleport to Bhujerba and take the flight as per the video states. There is like 30% chance of success. If it doesn't work, try again. (From POWER OFF your switch for more than 8 seconds onwards) If the 1% position is more than 8000 from your current position, don't bother, just reboot. It's faster. 4x accelerate moves you about 1000 position per minute.

@@sbyk1982I can't even get the program to work properly tho I get an html file and a couple other files with no extension it freezes when I hit calculate but seriously fuck you square for not making the treasures simpler in this game there is no excuse for a 0.1 percent chance at something it's pointless.

Chill bro. It's hard work because the Seitengrat is OP. If you really want it you have to work it. If the calculator doesn't work, that means your PC needs work. Hope you're not using a mac book for a start. You MUST use a PC with Windows OS. I tried it on my android phone and it doesn't work. (JavaScript etc) You need to go to the URL and download each files. There should be an html file which is your base file. Then you should have a folder called FF XII - RNG Cure_List files in the same location as the html file. Inside this sub folder, there should be 3 files. 2 javascripts and 1 css. Open the html file with Microsoft Edge. (That's what I did). I suppose chrome should work but if you wanna be sure you can follow what I did

Fomalhult is not even worth it buddy. It's not strong and if you're not playing new game -, you can level up to lv99 using the auto leveling trick, then go steal it from Elza at stage 86

found this out by doing the switch method twice on xbox one s i found the sequence both at seeds 1772099628 and 1768376217 so between seeds 1700000000 and 1800000000 with a account that has auto sign in on the xbox one s i'm guessing. Edit: also got the seitengrat from it :)

these seeds roughly match the tests I did with one guy in 2019 (adjusted for time difference)... But yesterday I had another guy with ONE X do some runs for me, and it is the same as on the current PC version (back in 2019 PC was different too)... Do you have the latest ff12 and xbox system update?

yes the xbox update is the latest from xbox insider hub and the ff12 update is 1.1.2.0 Edit: its on the xbox one s if that makes a difference

would this work on a pc pirated version of the game? i already have the Seitengrat/Trango, but never could get the gendarme(chest wont appear after even 100 times zoning)

Yes, but you could just use one of the two PC RNG Helpers
