Told me to pay it forward, “that when I can..I must” This was before he was a known speaker…fast forward 15 years later, I’m listening to his motivational talks and starting businesses…ET, I’ve been paying it forward since the day you told me to…made me believe that I may one day have something to offer the world. Gabriel I am so happy for you!!!! We may not know one another, however we are brother's and sisters in spirit. The only thing that seperates us is communication and stories of who we are..not yet shared with one another. It is not easy to change. It is not easy to make your life what you want It to be or even to even come close..Change is tremendously difficult..If it weren't..There wouldn't be a billion dollar industry full of books, podcasts, etc about it! YOU have done what so many have not..And I truly hope that you give yourself credit! I hope that you never give up! And I hope that no matter what..you always remember the will and the courage you summoned to begin the journey you're now on! Our path isn't set in stone..we create it..and every twist and turn within it.. I encourage you to be encouraged! Always know that God is rooting for you! Again. I'm 26 now but I've watched Eric Thomas ever since I was around 13/14.. I didn't have a father figure growing up and subconsciously I chose him as one of the father figure "role models" or something like that. He has genuinely helped shape my mind.
I’m 53 and I keep saying my life is boring…..after listening to this…. I realize I’m bored because I’m not walking in my purpose…..afraid to do what it takes….it’s time to EXECUTE!!! No more excuses.

What have you executed on?
I learned in drug addiction treatment years ago that “feelings are temporary and constantly changing”. That is probably the most important lesson anyone could ever learn. We do get stuck in our feelings. I needed to be reminded of this. Thank you.

Eric, if your reading this, I'm a disabled vet, after iraq and years of pain I lost my company and family, I was lost. But not long from a veterans homeless shelter in north Philly (the badlands it's callled) I built a construction company. That was nearly a decade ago, since then I've only moved up, although every day I struggle , because of my limitations, ptsd anxiety depression etc .and most of my time is wasted unfortunately, but the not wasted time I use with great purpose and I act As IF what I'm looking fit is allready mine. I got 20 bucks together in a homeless shelter and went and got business cards made, I hir3d he'll because most work I xant do, but with a great attitude people giving me work, would have never known I was homeless

Took ya long enough to get him on the show. He helped me with so much in life.
It's not about having money,... it's the freedom that money can give you. When ET talked about gong to the gas station and not paying attention to the cost, or buying a first class ticket for a long flight because he didn't want someone interrupting him and his wife talk... that just hit me like a lightening bolt. I can have that life, if I want it. God's given me all the tools necessary to achieve just that. I don't have to be average; average will always be there for me. I can, will and must! ET is everything... I love this man! Thanks Tom for having him back on your show.

This started playing after another video I was half listening to , and tbh I have never in my life heard of this guy before today... And let me tell you I was totally blown away by this, listened to every single word and even went back to replay some parts that were most powerful to me. I rarely, if ever watch these long interviews til the very end but WOW. I am legitimately annoyed that its over I could have listened to this man for another 5 hours. Pure gold. I hope his kids and wife know they are so lucky to have such an inspiring, amazing father and role model rooting for them , every kid deserves to have a dad exactly like this. I will 100% watch this again

"... why are you giving yourself a pass..?!" ... absolute truth and necessary words spoken. Make the "adjustments and corrections"
My 2 cents (from another Tom Bileau interview): Eat at least one fatty salad per day (spinach, lettuce, avocados; extra virgin olive oil; blue cheese), and if eat carbs, isolate carbs to one meal per day so your sugar and insulin isn't spiking all day long. Why? Because we all can't get anything good done because we're in a diabetic fog. Turn off technology and get to bed by 9:30pm, or another way to put it and my words to live by, *mind your own business.* If you're to bed early and off technology, then you can't get into trouble.
Finally! He’s been changing lives for YEARS through all those motivational videos and sound bites. Nice to see an actual sit down with him. 👏🏾👏🏾

I’m 57 years old. I started consistently listening to ET about a month ago. I wake up at 4:30am and in the gym by 5am before starting my day. I listen to ET while I workout. I’m motivated every morning. I connected so much with everything he says. The other day I was listening to him and he mentioned his birthday; and I realized we share the same birthday. I believe this is the reason I connect with his messages.

@Tom Bilyeu, thank you for this amazing interview with ET. I started listening to him back in 2013 or around that time and I was living very close to Lansing, MI. I texted him on his cellphone and he replied back, to me that was crazy! And that is when the "when you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, you will be successful" quote was at his peak. During the whole interview I felt like he was talking directly to me, so I connected so deeply with it. Hope he comes back for another interview as both of you provided massive value!
