Supreme court judges are meant to uphold the constitution, nothing more. No choosing sides. So even if what you say is true about some of them veing biased towards the right, the same can be said for the others who were appointed by democrats. That's why they area separate branch of government to check and balance the others. Someone's mad that not all members of the government are not liberal

She’s right in one regard: politically appointed judges ought not exist. All judges should be appointed by the legal system only, based on competence and integrity and experience and suitability, and definitely not on political affiliation or the personal preference of a politician.

A jail sentence won't happen. Judge would be too chicken shit. Unless there is a legal minimum for a jail sentence, the judge will just say that he had no past convictions, blah blah blah, community service and probation.
