What amazes me, as a non american resident, is it seems even when Trump will be found guilty of crimes (stealing top secret documents, interfering in the election results, etc), it will have no effect on republican voters at all. They will still vote for him.

In early 2016 I was talking to one of my best friends about the ludicrous idea that trump might be elected president. We’re Canadian so we were just observing the circus. When I mentioned how ridiculous I thought it was that a shady character like trump who I’ve suspected for years, was money laundering, he said that there would obviously be handlers to keep trump in line and he was just a figure head. I’ve never forgotten how badly that assertion has aged.

Sure Why Not? As it stands he can just Pardon himself. Pardons are a threat to our democracy. A person could commit murder which helped a president knowing that president would Pardon him.

Whether it would be carried out doesn't matter. Just the idea that a president would say such a thing is horrible.

I honestly believe Barr offered Epstein a deal regarding the videos and CD's Epstein had stashed, and once the videos and CD's were in safe hands the exiting assistance squad was sent into the prison.
