True Story: How Hello Street Cat Caught an Abuser
Based on the true story that happened in Changsha, China in February 2024. Watch to see how Hello Street Street identifies the abuser Li, who threw dismembered body parts of a cat in an HSC station, and successfully brings him under administrative detention.

"During Chinese New Year of 2024, a heartbreaking cat abuse incident occurred. Li went to the cat house maintained by "Meow Meow Girl", threw the paws and ears of the stray cats he had tortured and killed into the food bowl to show off his evil deeds and attract viewers to his live-stream.
After receiving notice, Jiemao immediately initiated emergency measures, suspending the live-stream of the cat house and assigning operators to go to the site for verification.
After 39 days, with the support and help of the masses, a man in white caught by the CCTV cameras was finally identified as the suspect Li, and the police officially charged him. After being summoned, Li admitted to the charges. The cat abuser was subsequently arrested and placed in administrative detention in accordance with the law.
In recent years, incidents of animal cruelty have become commonplace, which makes us feel heartbroken. You don’t have to love them, but please don’t hurt them. Jiemao and the China Small Animal Protection Association have jointly launched an anti-animal cruelty petition that will be open until April 30. Let’s speak out for the animals!

This was a very made film. I hope it brings more awareness to what is going on in China. A country with no animal abuse laws have no place in the UN and shouldn't be respected because it shows a lack of humanity. It has been shown over and over that people with murderous intent will seek out small, innocent animals like cats first before they go after babies or women. Don't Fuck With Cats is a good Documentary on that.

I feel like making movies about those 'people' plays exacly on what they want. Fame and fear/power. The movie looks honestly grate and I can see some huge efforts but I think it may just give them what they wanted at the end of the day and others will want some of that aswell...
