I recently found a stray kitten a year ago and saved him and he’s grown into a beautiful amazing boy and has changed my horrible opinions and narratives I’ve heard that I used to think towards cats. Of course, they're not.This is just nasty and the quality life for these animals is non existent. Cows and pigs are treated better than this. You can treat an animal wonderfully and still eat them. This however is horrible and not humane. Edit: That being said I am from a country where this is appalling because they are pets. I even used to do rescue, not just for cats and dogs. Animal cruelty is appalling. And I'm not a vegetarian either. I'm very much love beef.

And honestly I didn't wanna be that person, but if you eat household pets you're literal flith on the inside. So the way I see why would a retired animal rescuer or anyone else for that matter, listen to a trashcan. I may not be from the same country but it has been in my experience that either elderly or inbred people are the only ones who mostly participate in this out of date stuff today, anyway. It's shocking how people don't care about farm animals treatment. I mean, cows, sheep, pigs, they are as sensitive as pets. They used to be free in pasture fields and hills, but now... I'm not saying, don't eat them but treat them with love and care in return
