As far as I am aware, web spinning spiders all produce two types of strands, those that are sticky and those that are not. They walk on their webs by stepping on the not sticky strands. The next time you see a spider web you can do the same, touch the strands that go straight inwards towards the center of the web, they should be the non-sticky strands, the ones that go around and around are the sticky ones.

I'm coming back here 5 years after the fact to say that from 3:32 and onwards is still the funniest part of the video for me and my mother. We watched this together when it first came out and we were laughing the whole time but we broke down in hysterics when we got to that timestamp. We absolutely lost it and now we watch it at least once a year because it's never not funny.
