Love everything about this❤️

I have the steel bumper on my 2-door rubicon and I really prefer it with the sides on. When I first bought it, I immediately wanted to take them off. To me, it looks more aggressive and complete with it on. I swear if Jeep left the stock steel bumper stubby, and sold the side attachments as an add-on, everyone would be rocking them. The 2dr Rubi with that bumper, the XR fender flares and 35" tires looks SO chunky. I love it.

How many inches did it add from the ground to the top? I like this set up.

Great video, I plan on getting a 392 Firecracker 🧨 Red this spring before they stop making them. Also the front bumper looks better as a stubby. I ran a delete before on my other jeeps and it's the way to go. You Rock 😎

I've kept my rear spare for 2 reasons. 1) nice rear ending accident protection. Nearly no damage to mine and the person that rear ended me was crumpled. 2) flat on the side of the road. No buddies around to share theirs. Definitely was clutch to swap it out easily.

I love that reason No.1 tops reason No.2 😂 but it's true, Ive personally been rear ended witha. spare on by an F150. I jumped out and the dudes grill and headlight were destroyed. I kept looking for damage on the Jeep and nothing!

you could get bfg ko2 c load 37's (stock raptor 37 package tire) those come in at 63lbs per corner. also the spacers add 5-8lbs per corner.

You’re the only one that’s pointed this out, I expected more comments on the weight of the BFGs. I’ve ran KO2s in the past and liked them for the most part, but they are not true 37s, they always run smaller compared to other 37s. In hindsight I should have gone with 38s.

I have run quality spacers on 4 different Jeeps without any problems. And I don’t run a spare on our dedicated rock crawler but I do have one on the trailer if I need it. Most of us do that but we keep spares on our more street driven rigs we take on long trips. Might want about an inch of extra bump stop in back to keep the tires out of the fenders.

Thank you, I'm totally with you. Use a quality product and install it correctly. I'm waiting on the bumpstops since we have Rock Krawlers new 392 lift going on soon which will require about 3" spacers. I'm from the sports car world and even though I've been driving and building Jeeps for a few years, I really appreciate and learn from feedback like this.

6 ply(like the stock 35's) BFG KO3's in 37X12.5R17's weigh 65 lbs... Just FYI.

Got the 2024 392 putting 37” trail grapplers on what size spacer ya use?

Hey. You running these on stock wheel I see, what’s the exact tire size, name of spacer and size please? Jeep looks sweet!!!!

Running mine with the stubby, looking at the AEV rear bumper since I have torn bumpers off on trails before.

Love the quality on your videos. I've got a red 23 392 XR on order, can't wait to get it. Did you get a tazer to set the tire size? Is it noticeably slower after adding the 37s?

Love you for watching! Congrats on the XR! When they stopped taking orders on 392 Xtreme Recons I thought for sure this may be the end of them. So glad more people have them on order, it's by far the best Jeep ever made. Did you order it with the satin black grill? I have not flashed it with a Tazer Mini yet but definitely plan to do so. As far as the 37s slowing it down, I don't feel a big difference since the Xtreme Recon is set up to more than accommodate 35s. But, I'd be lying if I said the Jeep dosnt feel slightly slower. I'm hoping the Tazer Mini pads that gap a bit. Thank you again for watching, we have more upgrades coming in very soon. I also have a Sarge Green 392 in the shop right now with about $60k in upgrades, we're shooting that one today.

@@StudioMotors ordered mine with the color matched grill. I do plan on ordering the satin black one though, then hanging the red one in my garage. I found that I could get it for just under 300 which I think was less than adding it as an option. That’s quite the upgrade budget! Big axles on 40+ tires? Will definitely check out that video.

Digging the Jeep. I have a black XR on order and playing the waiting game. Are you looking to add a lift in the future? I am going 37s on mine also. Really like the KM3s but they are a bit undersized for the look I am going after. Debating on an AEV lift with 8100s.

Thanks Hugh! Please let me know what you think of the 392 XR when it comes in. Same here on the KM3's, they run a bit small so I decided to try the Coopers. If you're open to it, maybe consider 38" KM3s. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the JK wore 37s perfectly whereas the JL needs a little more. I'm going with Rock Krawlers new 392 specific lift, 11 boxes actually showed up via UPS today so you'll see the unboxing/install soon.

Great looking. Your tire noise will be noticeable 'when' they start to wear (~10K), then you'll feel like you're in a Chinook helicopter...lol. Great job

Sparta thank you for the feedback! Is it the cooper's specifically you're talking about or mud terrains in general? Curious how it goes, I'll keep you posted once I have some good miles on them but it'll probably be a bit of time since I only do about 300 miles a month on the Jeep.

@@StudioMotors mostly the MTs. Several brands I’ve had sound silent for about 10-15k, then gradually get up there. 20k on my Nitto RGs and just now starting which is the best I’ve had. Love your Jeep

Thank you so much! Its an exciting time for exotics. Theres all types on new stuff coming but the real juice is in the cars that are turning into modern classics in a super short timeframe. Since most new exotics are already turbocharged, the naturally aspirated cars are holding their price or climbing. Now, the next gen of exotics coming out are turbocharged hybrids! in a single generation we went from N/A V8s and V12s to turbocharged smaller blocks, to V6 twin turbo hybrids. Its a massive shift happening super fast and its interesting watching how the market moves and monetizing on it. I love Jeeps and will 100% continue to make Jeep content. We shot a Sarge Green 392 today with about 60k in upgrades on it. Keeping mine fairly stock. Only significant change I am going to make is Quake or AA Labs fender LEDs on front. I might upgrade suspension to SDI E-clik to get real time adjustments to eliminate some body roll in turns.

@@StudioMotors Not sure. The stock suspension is fine for me since I don't off road, however, I'd like to improve on road handling a little. The E-clik are semi-active so they are adjusting constantly every second depending on conditions. They can sense body roll so will stiffen and should make the handling better on road.

Im going to dig into these E-cliks a bit. They sound very promising. I have tried to find the perfect balance and there is no such thing. The closest I have come to it is an expensive setup of King Shocks with a good lift like Evo. BTW if you would like to give the 392 tighter steering feel, a pass through steering stabilizer is the perfect thing. You'll find steering stabilizers for $50 and up and they all do roughly the same thing. The ONLY steering stabilizer I have personally used (ive gone through at least 6-7 of them) was a pass-through. They are generally more expensive but man did I love having that thing on my JK. This is the one I've used and loved amzn.to/3cUOaWZ Forgot to mention its adjustable by 24 clicks as far as I remember. I ran mine on the stiffer side and it just felt great.

@@StudioMotors I'm surprised there aren't any other semi-active options. They are common on high end motorcycles nowadays. They read shock action several times a millisecond and make adjustments in real time based on sensor readings. So if road is bumpy the shocks automatically soften and if the road is smooth they stiffen along with adjustments for body roll. I'm sure King or some other legit performance shocks might work better for off road, but since my 392 is a daily driven SUV for me and I have no plans to do any off roading other than an occasional dirt road, improving on road handling is more important to me. The 392 drives great. After 5100 miles, my steering is nice and tight. Tracks straight as an arrow. I don't get any of the wandering (or maybe I don't expect it drive like an x5!). My only complaint is the excessive body roll in turns due to the height. I don't feel confident flying around highway turns at 80mph sometimes.....

Dave. 392 looking good bro. Can you tell me how it handles on pavement at high speed? Is the steering loose like a regular Wrangler? Can't seem to get a consistent answer from other reviewers. Also, how are you protecting side panels from road chips? PPF? That firecracker red pops. Thanks Dave. I'm taking delivery of a black 392 XR end of the month. My first Jeep ever. Can't wait. 😁

Thank you!! I'm happy to give you as much feedback as I can. The steering is much better than a Rubicon lifted a few inches and running 37s. That I can say for certain. Once I got a bit familiar with Jeeps, I decided I would never ever lift one again without addressing all the steering components at the same time to get the right articulation. It's just not worth it. The 392 XR from the factory steers as good, if not better, than a bone stock Rubicon. Keep in mind the SRT division was hands on in the development of the 392 XR and it shows. I also think the weight of the 6.4L, along with what Jeep has done to address the weight, really makes it a better driving Wrangler overall. But when I went to Mud Terrain 37s, it did make the steering worse at high speeds due to a smaller patch of tire touching the road. I'm going to PPF as soon as I can for the rock chips but I've been so slammed recently, and had back surgery a few months ago, so the Jeep wasnt being driven much. Has yours landed yet? Please LMK when it does and what you think. Make sure you check tire pressures before you leave the dealer, they over inflate the S*** out of them and some folks get a bad impression leaving the lot. Bfg stock tires aren’t that heavy, and the bfg ko2 37 is lighter Good looking build. Like the no spare look, in LA could work… Not sure I could do it here…

Your jeep looks awsome with 37s. Do you feel any difference with running spacers? I'm trying to decide between XR and stock 392. Eventually I would like to run 37s. Love your channel, keep it up.

Thank you so much! I don't feel any negative affects from the spacers we are using. I have always used Spidertrax spacers, they are great and I've never had an issue with them. Its a simple product but I do recommend getting your tire shop to put them on for you unless you're very hands on. Just needs a super clean surface and torqued down. Just a heads up, when you throw spacers and big tires on, theres a chance its not going to be "right" the first time and it may take you a day or two of driving to figure that out. I believe we installed the spacer on the wheel and tightened it down and balanced the wheel with the 37 inch tire and spacer on it, then installed it. Its freakin perfect. Most spacer issues (wobble at 80mph, vibration, etc) come from bad installs, balancing, and alignment. If you are certain you're going with 37s, I'd recommend getting the 392 Xtreme Recon for sure! I see people on forums arguing about the cost of the XR package vs how much they would spend etc etc. If you dont like the 35s that are on the XR, you'll get an easy $1000 for them, even more if you take them off soon as you take delivery. Then there's regearing - the cheapest I have ever regeared a Jeep has been about $2000 between parts and labor, but we are in LA and do pay more. Aside from the cost, there's the fact that you are unsealing and voiding the OEM warranty. It is what it is when you have to do it, but if I had a choice between OEM and under warranty (considering we're not swapping to heavy duty axles), I'd go with factory. Some also believe the 392 is sufficient enough to run 37s without struggling or straining, but there's a reason Jeep regears the XR for the 35s. I have not tried this but I personally would not spend the type of money a 392 costs and not regear it to accommodate the 37s. @@StudioMotors Thank you for your valuable input, I totally agree. The problem is I'm not in the U.S. and according to the local Jeep dealer XR package is for North America only! So the only way to get it is to buy a used one and get it shipped overseas. That is why I'm weighing my options.

I’m at 9k miles now, I think roughly 5k on the tires so far. I hope they don’t get crazy loud. Is the noise the only issue you had? Anything else with the Coopers I should know about?

@@StudioMotors Honestly I didn’t like them at all…the noise level was too much for me. They felt very stiff compared to other mud terrains I’ve ran before. Milestar Patagonia makes an excellent tire..it’s a hybrid MT and quiet. Softer compound so longevity may be an issue.. other than that I’m very happy with it….✌️

Do you mean bigger rocks picked up between the knobs or just small rocks sticking to the rubber? I can't say I've noticed an issue but Ive only been out in the dirt twice with it. They were pretty clean both times, nothing caught my eye but Ill watch for them the next time we're out. Thanks for watching Brandon!

Wheel spacers aren’t that bad, just get a known brand and make sure you stay within 1.5”

Bro, there are 10 great reasons to delete the spare and carry a plug kit/compressor versus keeping the 5th wheel in the 1:100,000 chance you get a sidewall cut and have no friends around. And what's wrong with saving money? Rim, tire, fuel costs, brakes, etc. You make it sound like a bad thing. Means I have more $$ to spend on my hottie Asian wife.
