I'm glad it worked out for him, but honestly you would think a fellow truck driver should know that if he's driving slow, it means he's at the end of his shift and can't drive any faster without getting in trouble for it. My father was a truck driver in the 70s and 80s and he would tell us stories of his travels when he got home, most were funny but a few were kinda scary for him. He carried a gun,but luckily never had to use it.

This illustrates why the LL arms are valuable. There are many instances where you certainly don't want to kill anyone, but the show of force keeps things from getting out of hand. Furthermore, if he had to use the Byrna, he could pull the trigger with a good chance that the person he's firing on is not going to be seriously hurt. Pulling the trigger when you know you will likely kill someone can cause a lot of trepidation that works against you in a tense situation.

Either that or he needs to attend an anger management course and maybe look for another profession! Whatever the case, kudos to this driver for having the intelligence and maturity to have a non lethal option at the ready. That situation could have easily been tragic. He was legit gone, was able to be cuffed and thrown in solitary. Definitely effective but I’d recommend buying a paintball marker and filling it with pepper ball rounds. A lot cheaper and I can put the link to the one I have, it’s also a lot smaller, about the size of a compact handgun so it’s easier for concealed carry.

Because he wasn’t carrying it. Pepper balls have a better effective range as well. Saw a meth head in county jail get dropped and cuffed with only two rounds shot. Very effective.

You load the CO 2 but you do not Pierce it until you're ready you can keep it that way forever ....once you need it as you are withdrawing it you pull the trigger to Pierce it while it is in safe mode, it will last about 2 to 3 magazines about 15 rounds

Depends on the state your in. It's less lethal. No license required. Perfectly legal (in WA). It's the equivalent of carrying pepper spray and is treated by law enforcement accordingly.

A Byrna looks like a gun, enough that an officer thought it was a gun and tried to rack it. Having a "fake" gun could be a disaster in certain circumstances. Every trucker that I know carries a real gun. Go big or go home.

BYRNA, BYRNA, byrna , yeap everyone is raving about them , but man , i personally cant see spending more for a paintball gun then you would pay for a real REAL FIREARM !!!! LOL .... TAKE for an example , the Umarex line of self defense and home defense co2 powered weapons , they cost a third of your product and with little modifications , produce 3 times the power and more . if that guy in the video being shot by the byrna would have returned fire with a modded umarex hdp or hdr , the guy with the byrna would have been the one throwing up his hands up in the air and running from his truck , believe me lol lol lol !!!!!!
