    My guy, you need to put your ground clamp on the actual work piece and not the lathe! You’re arcing across every single bearing inside your gearbox every time you start and stop a new weld!

    Should’ve greased the all 4 new bearings by the grease nipple provided, it would’ve finished off a perfect job.

    mauvais travail nous on change la pièce on met du neuf dans nos ateliers .Ca revient moins cher .

    moe si j etais le chauffeur du truck pas debrouillard pantoute bin j aurais juste shime les oreilles du yoke ( autour des sleeves du joint ) avec des shims de stainless que j aurais coupees avec des ciseaux a papier genre 0.0015" pis 0.002" , jme serais jamais baudre de mette le yoke sur le tour a metal pour un vieux dirveshaft avec des splines grugees , en plusse que le joint avait l air encore bon , ca aurait pris 10 minutes , j aurais jamais soude du cast iron sans le chauffer d avance pis y avait meme pas 1/16" de viande avant le tread , pour le reste les gars sont travaillant faut le reconnaitre
