Truck Camping Gold Butte National Monument
This week we head out to Gold Butte National Monument with the Vegas Overlanding group!
One of the newest National Monuments in the US, established in 2016. Gold Butte has a lot to offer! From beautiful scenery, wildlife to petroglyphs and a TON of boondocking/dry camp spots. This was a great place to explore but Note - there is NO Cell service out here so download the maps within Gold Butte prior to your trip! There are also NO services (toilets, water, gas, etc) Pack everything in that you need and Pack everything OUT (ex. Trash, etc)

Little Finland - Crazy rock formations and beautiful scenery

Slot Canyon 1 “Red Bluff Spring” - we hiked about 6 miles round trip but you can hike as far in as you want into the slot canyon (it’s a there and back hike)

7 Keyhole Canyon (Highly recommend) - it’s a short hike ~2 miles in total for the full loop through the slot canyons and see all the petroglyphs inside

@@keelybrown1358 I had to look it up and it looks AWESOME! I love that you can get inside the trailer when the weather is bad unlike other offroad trailers.. which never made sense to me. lol If your going through the hassle of towing something you better be able to use it as a indoor living space somehow lol Have a safe trip out there this weekend!

:) noticed that huh? I have a kydex holster for it, I dont conceal carry much so it usually hangs out in my go bag, its a 9mm P320 Desert Tan, awesome gun, super accurate out of the box. I love it.

Temps werent too bad ~80s I probably wont be back again until Fall tho lol Temps are definitely climbing now

LOL yes! That was hilarious as I was reviewing footage :D It was a great trip! Its getting hot out there tho so I think the next time we get out there will be in the Fall! Its about time to start hitting the mountains or going north to camp!
