Actually the gun was once made in my hometown, West Springfield, MA. The company moved to the more gun friendly southern region of the USA a couple of years ago. I own their PAR .223 rifle. A very accurate and smooth pump action with AR15 style controls.

Awesome! - JK
Need a video with the 300BLK next! subsonic ammo will be interesting to see if the 1st shot is loud and consecutive shots are then quiet as I experience with other 300BLK, Heads up.. your video mentions .223 barrel as 1-8 twist, but I think its a 1-7 twist (1-8 maybe the 300BLK)

Yes, but only if you're a pest controller for example. You need to get an exemption from nz police.

@@guncitynewzealand most imported are banned due to appearance laws. We can get these made locally though , different states different rules, Oceania, Wedgetail and Warwick’s are the main ones
Do we have varmints in NZ?

Indeed we do...... Wallabies, goats, rabbits, wild pigs...... the list is long
I think the pump action is better, faster.

Straight pull doesn't make much sense for a micro-action (.223/5.56, .300 BO, etc) rifle. Would make more sense for a short-action (.300Win/7.62Nato, 6.5 Creedmoor, etc) rifle.

@@carpingnyland8518makes sense if you intend to shoot prone and can't legally have a semi auto

@@lolinskimk6 Definitely, but if I'm planning to shoot mostly prone, rather than off hand, I'm going with at least a short action. Gives you more energy at longer ranges than a micro action. The advantage of micro-action is in the ability to carry and move with more rounds.
Charging handle fail! Take a look at the British straight pull ARs to see how it should be done.
