Troubleshooting A Basic Electrical Problem | John Deere L120 | Man About Home

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I keep the old John Deere lawn tractor as a backup. It doesn't get used alot, and usually only for close work. It gets stored in the back of the barn for Winter. When I tried to start it to move it to Winter storage, it was completely dead.
The purpose of my videos is to help others learn the useful skills I've depended on my whole life, to get things done. So I took this problem as an opportunity to demonstrate some basic electrical troubleshooting and repair. I hope someone uses this to develop their skills.
It's all about experience.

How about it? It runs and you engage blade and it stalls 15:25

I don't understand your question. It ran, I drove it away, I didn't engage the blade, and it didn't stall. ???? Thank you for watching.

This would be great if my problem was a bad add on cutoff switch. But it’s not. It’s just dead. No clicks no lights nothing. Ran fine for an hour and when I shut it off to fuel up it died.

I'd start with checking the battery voltage and connections. Then the fuse. There's one fuse.
