I think the reason you have so many subscribers can be attributed to not only the content of your videos which is always interesting....but also to your manner and personality. You're never down and out even if things don't go your way, you always either find a way around the situation or another solution that is just as good as what you wanted to do. Things like rebuilding Grampa's tractor appeal to many generations (even this very Old Lady Farmer 😃). Thank you for sharing. God bless you & your family. We had an Angus steer who was a perpetual fence breaker/escape artist(always when it was pouring down rain or when I wanted to see my girlfriend!)He was not quite finished but got out one last time .We called the mobile harvest guy and well All I can say is Best Beef Ever!Congrats on the 100 k well earned! 18:17 nothing like satisfied customers!

I'm surprised that you didn't find buyers for those steers. I don't live in your area, but the price of beef here in southern Utah is absurd. $7/lb for hamburger is the norm. I bought a 1/2 and paid $4 hanging and it came out to right at $7/lb. I got all the steaks, roasts and organs plus about 100lb of burger. Might not sound like a good deal, but the premium steaks are expensive enough that I don't even look at the prices. Something is not right Congrats on 100k...nice milestone

The beef industry has merged into 4 huge buyers due to big business lobbying...putting ranchers out of business. This is what happened to my uncle.

I consider you my little brother! I love your checking in so frequently and seeing what you are doing and accomplishing. I've waded through mud that dries like cement, chased livestock in less than optimal conditions, held baby lambs as they took their last breath, and rubbed calves when they took their first breath. The work is hard, yet the satisfaction comes in little parcels and makes it all worth it. Congrats on the 100k subscribers, and here's to many more, formerly from Placerville but now in Idaho.

In our area of the Midwest we planned on the first calf after Easter. That gave grass time to get started, the mud time to dry up and it almost never snowed… almost

It's one of the most useful tools you can have on a farm. Calve a month later. Green grass detoxes a cow after calving. they really need what it can offer them. :) Well done on 100K.
