Alright guys, so on this video I do a walkthrough of the mods and accessories I’ve done with the Scrambler so far.     I'd leave the headlight grill out. It's pretty dumb to clean out flies underneath it. I'd also get the flyscreen, for the same reason... cleaning flies out of the headunit cabling is also not fun. I love the tank wrap. Very clean and tasty style. Well done!

    I've got a 2019 Scrambler 1200XC as well, and I've found the TEC Bike Parts tail tidy to be my favorite modification.

    Hey there! Which tidy did you get? The one with the inner mud guard already pre-cut?

    @@SBKSpecialties No, I cut the mud guard myself. It took less than three minutes with a hacksaw, and is hard to screw-up (TEC Bike Part's video is very good on the matter of exactly where to cut). I briefly entertained the notion of buying the kit with the pre-cut guard, but the added expense combined with the fact that I'd never change it back again told me to save my money and do it myself.

    The problem I have found with the TEC tail tidy is that the back of the bike gets covered in crap ( and your jacket!!) ...I’ve also put the Zard low exhaust on mine and that is a game changer

    No good in the standard angle. I went over a jump and it got mangled on my tyre

    @@thisisme7587 I tweaked the bottom edge of my license plate the first time I bottomed-out my rear suspension too. This prompted two actions from me: I straightened my license plate back out, and I changed my rear suspension settings, firming them up a bit. It hasn't happened a second time.

    Really nice looking machine. When i got a new sprint 2014 the dam thing cut out on me and fell to the floor when setting off. My bars where turned and it came down so fast and broke my thumb. Was drooping and i rode home about 60 mile or so. At that time they couldn't find fault and no one could say why. Or should i say they wouldn't. I realize it was all this dam emission crap that causes the bike to run to lean. The Booster plug i think is essential. But they cant and wont admit that for emission reasons. My Rocket i have now doesn't have one, But rarely cuts out anyway. I guess it uses more fuel being its size. Thirsty son of a gun. But i really do like the scrambler look and purpose. Not for me though, Nowhere i can go off road and my rides are long. But you have one nice bike there man.

    Thanks so much for watching and I’m really glad you liked the bike! It is crazy how lean my bike was running and how many times it shut off on me (almost every time I stopped at a redlight with the bike hot). The booster plug absolutely took care of that issue. How do you like that Rocket III? What an absolute beast!!

    @@SBKSpecialties ye I like it a lot. I do like going long day out rides. But there is atleast an hour to scenic areas off the motorway. More when going further out. My return home was painfull on other bikes I've had. At 57 I now get a bit stiff. So the R3 eases my pain.

    What's the final horsepower count after all the performance mods?

    Do we have to remap in a certain way after installing the booster plug? I’m checking the bike with tune ecu. But if you have any consideration it would be awesome to know!

    Hey there! So the recommended method for self tuning the computer according to the Triumph service manual is: ensure the bike is completely cold (i.e. overnight cold) turn the bike on, do NOT touch the throttle, let the bike run on idle and after 12-15min the fans should come on. At this point the ECU will start to take temperature, and air/fuel measurements and self adjust to optimize the mixture. It has to run an additional 10-12min (so in total 22-27min). You don’t do anything, just wait. After this, shut engine off. Done! Hope this helps!

    I'm looking at getting the scrambler but I'm thinking of getting the XE because I'm 6'3" how tall are you and how does the XC fit and did you try the XE before you bought the XC?

    Hey ! So I’m 6’2” and honestly I sometimes wish I had that extra height and travel from the XE. I didn’t test ride it but sat on it on the dealer and liked the extra height but the deal they made me on the XC was too good. I’ve played around with the idea of trading in but honestly have too much time and effort invested in this one to part ways yet! If I were in your position and could, I would try to get the XE! Cheers

    @@SBKSpecialties I'm 6,7. Get the XE, super comfy. I've customised it completely, and it looks so incredibly dope now.

    @@wesver 6'4" with a 34" inseam and I can sit flat-footed on my XC with a little bit of bend at the knees. I sat on the XE in a showroom, and could flat-foot it as well.
