Triumph Bonneville Bobber - Irresistible

Never really cared for the Bobber, that’s what I had said previously to Jake at Suffolk Triumph. Really he said, why is that? I don’t care for putting my feet out in front. You don’t he said, it’s not like the speed master, more like the Rocket you tried. Oooo I said, well then in that case😊So here I am to give it another go.

I have The Winter to order some goodies for it so when it arrives we have a little work to do to it... I have to come up with a name for it something really good.. anyway I would like to say thank you for your time putting this video together.. when I go and pick it up I'm going to be starting My KZread channel with this bike unboxing of this very sexy ride..so it's going to be a very special day for me hopefully everything goes well it should I've already done a lot, I should be good..and if it doesn't well at least I've got a very nice little Ride.... thanks once again buy the way did you end up buying one yourself??

I love big section tires on any bike. I know that they are not for performance naughty boy sharp cornering style bikes but are dead comfy

I would love a Triumph Bobber, but I'd only ride it locally, which would kinda be a shame. It would be wonderful though. I'd feel like a strutting rooster. lol

There's a huge pot hole on the A6 at Belper. That too gets you on any bike. It's right at the side of the Churchyard and deep enough to pitch you (and your pillion) straight off and into an open grave. Marvellous

I like the looks of the bike and the sound is great I think triumph have done a great job on all the range to be honest , look forward to your further reviews. Thankyou

I think a delivery box, antique wood , would look good on that. I could sell vegetables on the side of the road. Something about that bike makes me think Popeye the sailer man 1950s. But with a George Jetson feel.

Love the look of that bobber and it sounds the business but I'd need proper clocks, by the time my analogue brain worked the mode switch out I'd be in the back of the bus in front of me. Thanks TAYM.

It is always good to hear your thoughts on a Triumph and on motorcycling in general 👍. I do like the way that Triumph make the radiator look unobtrusive, unlike the Z900 for instance. The Bobber has that torque monster 1200, but I think that it would be well down on my list of Triumphs to own as I prefer classic bike styling. I will watch further reviews with much interest!

Uncle Stu reckons the seat was designed by the Spanish Inquisition 🤣 Was he exaggerating?

I think Triumph have spent a lot of time with the mappings for the 1200cc since we first tried the T120. Your obvious satisfaction with the bike with no name would bear this out. As most of you know, we tried the T120 when they first came out, back to back with the T100 and found the latter much more satisfying as a result. More recently when I had a Speed Twin for the day, I definitely found an improvement. But that naughty boy bike really didn't like going slow and ran very hot.

Bobber, it's a style of bike which just seems odd to me, with a seating configuration pulled straight from an old steam tractor. I'm pleased you've got it long term as it'll be interesting to see what you think of it by the end. You can certainly hear that wobble in your voice which would imply its not too well sprung. The new camera worked OK, I'm guessing you had the 360 lens fitted but set to forward focus. I also noted that wind reduction was on, I could hear your voice clearly but wind and engine noise was muffled.
