    Went to my Triumph dealer and they fired this bobber trim up and the exhaust truly sounds great-lots of pop, gurgle, throaty tones. It's just loud enough, but not obnoxious or weak on either end. A far superior moto than a Indian Scout hands down.

    The light comes on at approx 80-85 miles with 9 litre tank, but it’ll cover 120 miles comfortably… as I do regularly.

    Put the British customs exhaust on it. It really sounds great! It opens the top end up a bit too.

    I recently brought a Speed Twin 900 (formerly Street) and I absolutely love it. In a few years I would like the Bobber or the Bonnie. The only thing I don’t like about the bobber is the headlight is about an inch or two too small. I bigger, chrome edged lamp would be much better. A superb looking beast though.

    We agree on the headlight! Could just be that big bigger. Have fun with the 900!

    Great review and it is a stunning bike. I would definitely prefer this bike to my Harley but three things chill me: 1) Like you said, 100 mile range is too short. I don't care about mileage, just range. 2) Chain drive. My '99 Harley still has original belt and more than 150k miles with zero maintenance and no oil slinging onto the wheel. 3) Wheels appear to require tubes. Big issue if you can't plug a leak and keep going. Otherwise, I would seriously consider the Bobber. Also, I love the parallel twin. So I'm waiting and hoping for future changes to the Bobber. 🙂

    i had a flat tire one time with the bobber, but i called AAA and the mororbike tow truck took me and my motorbike back home, and to the dealer for a new tube and tire the next day . the bobber feels small to me , plus it is easy to ride. it feels like a beginner motorbike.i get about 55 mpg , i'm still on the original tires with 8,000 miles + , although i try to keep my speed to 65 mph. i can just touch my boots to the ground and i am 5 ft 2 inches tall, all my previous motorbikes were tiptoe on one foot only.

    Great professional review! What do you think of the forward controls option? Seats and handlebar risers are available to adjust the ride for riders with a short inseam or arm length. The stock seat is a killer (not in a good sense). Maybe Triumph should sell a small gas can as an option? ;-). It's a great motorcycle at US or UK prices but a stock 2024 Bobber (non-stealth edition costs $19,000++ USD!

    I was looking at this when I got my R nineT, still love the looks of the bobber but the weight, power and engine size threw me off. How is a 1200cc liquid cooled get about 77hp and an air oil cooled 1170cc get 110hp and more torque? The R nineT also is 60lbs lighter. Seem like the bobber should be light-weight in the concept of a bobber style was less weight.

  • @AndrewLane-pm2ro
    @AndrewLane-pm2ro7 күн бұрын

    I like the Bobber, but it seems excessively heavy - its dry weight is more than that of the Triumph Tiger 1200 adventure bike!

    Triumph yet again, has produced another beautiful bike that biker's actually want to buy. The chrome really needs PPF coating to stop scratches and ruining that stunning designed fuel tank. The seat for me, is a bit too low? Like Alex, I'm 6.2ft and it's Bobber hence the low down seat and Cruiser ride. So it might not be for everyone. My only gripe as Alex also mentioned, is the 12 litre tank. Personally, I'd love to see a 14 which I think would have made a difference to the overall spec. All in all, another bike that proves Triumph is serious about it's place in the market.
