@@TyrellKnifeworks Welcome Brother! I'd say one of the things you've said that I've held onto all these years is that to always try to incorporate new processes and ideas into the builds.. I've learned alot of fun stuff doing just that. 🤘🏻 now I need to set some goals for myself. 😊

Interested in everything you talked about lol... I was able to finish my first knife made from a farriers rasp, came out looking like a banana after the quench but I was able to fix it with no problem and it's straight and sharp now, added some black walnut for the handles. Went with the Viking Seax style and loving it. Thanks again for sharing your time and knowledge and can't wait to see what you do this year !!!

Think for this year I'm probably going to save up for another heat treatment kiln, I did have a lot of whimsical ideas about a new forge with all kind of technology into it... but that is currently a bit out of budget unless some prices come down and I really could use a 2nd kiln. Personally, I don't hate hand sanding. Its just one of those things you got to do in some cases and most carbon steels move fairly well under hand sanding. Now if you want real, honest suffering I could suggest doing 3V up to 1200grit but even I'm not that sick. The sanding machine though is something Shurap has used for heck, as long as youtube has been around I reckon so its interesting see someone else's take on the machine, plus if you've got a repetitive strain injury it could be really good for some people.

I think there’s enough people who want any kind of reprieve from hand sanding that a product offering in this space should have some traction. We’ll see! Thanks for watching, Kris!

First off happy new year. Now. I I know one of the things you really want to do is make a chef’s knife and I’d say do what you do and if you could tell me what the damage will be and I’ll save up. All kidding aside I would love one of your works of art. Hell I might not be able to afford one.
